It was Christmas Eve and Sophie and I had all the family over. Tonight I am introducing Sophie to my family tradition of chilli dogs and family time. All my family are here and tomorrow in with there gifts we have placed a scan picture.
"Luke when are we going to the store to get all the food for supper tonight" mama said
"Give me 15 minutes Mama" I replied
Mama and me headed to the store and Thomas stayed with Sophie, Kris Jordan and Til. He was loving having so many cousins around. Him and Sophie have been getting on so well which I am really pleased about. We got to the store and mama handed me the shopping buggy and we made our way into the store
"Luke can you get me the hot dog buns and remember it's the good ones and I will go get my secret ingredients for the chilli" she said
"Mama we all know it's fag ash you drop in there when no one is looking" I said laughing
"Boy you ain't to old to go over your mamas knee, now go get me then buns" she said slapping my arm.
I made my way to the bread section
"Oh my god it's Luke Bryan" I heard a couple of girls scream
"Hey darlin" I said to the most hysterical one
"Oh my god can we please have a selfie it would make my Christmas so much better"
"No problem sweetheart"
I pulled her in for a selfie and I could feel her shaking
"Are you here with Sophie" one of the other girls said
"No I'm here with my mama, Sophie is at home" I said
"Awww I would have loved a selfie with her and you. I love both of you" she said
"Well thank ya darlin, Hey next concert close by consider yourself on the guest list" I said
This was met with hysterical screaming and people where starting to look
"Just give me y'all a email and I will
Have my team contact you" I said as I headed back to mama.
"What was all that commotion Luke"
"I ran into a few fans I think I made there Christmas"
"Your such a sweet boy baby"
We continued on our shopping trip and we got everything on the list and more.
On the way back I stopped at the florist
"Mama I will be two minutes just need to get Sophie some flowers" I said as I jumped out the truck. I returned five minutes later
"Here you go mama I got these for you" I said as I handed her a big bunch of carnations
"Aww thank you sweetheart" she said kissing my cheek
We where a few minutes from the house. I pulled in to the driveway and my heart stopped. There was an ambulance in front of the house. My heart was pounding oh my god what has happened............
