We headed back to mamas just as the sun was rising. I hope she don't want us to go to church I just wanna go to sleep.
"So do you think Caroline will bother us anymore" Sophie asked
"I don't know baby and I don't care to be honest. That shop sailed years ago. I spent so many nights with so many girls trying to get her out my head when all I needed was you" I said pulling her hand up and kissing her knuckles.
We pulled into mamas drive way and she was just leaving to go to church
"Looks like someone had fun" she said pointing to my neck
Shit Sophie had given me a Hickie, I ain't had one of them since high school.
"Oh sorry mama" Sophie and I both said in unison
"Well y'all ain't gonna make it to church now, I'm already running late. Why do you go in and head to bed, oh and Luke someone left a brown envelope for you on the porch this morning" she said
"Ok thank Mama"
I wonder what it could be. Not many people know I am down here this weekend.
We both went inside and Sophie headed straight for the shower and I went into the kitchen for some coffee. Sure enough there was an envelope on the table, with my name handwritten on the front. I opened it and was shocked with what I seen inside. It was photos of me and Sophie from last night in a rather intimate situation and a note saying $25,000 or these go online. I knew right away who this was, fucking Caroline. I ran upstairs and was met on the landing by Sophie
"Baby what's wrong what is it" she said looking at the envelope ✉️
"Last night when we were you know, someone took a picture of it" I said showing her the envelope "And they are blackmailing me for $25,000 not to share it"
"Any ideas or is that a silly question"
"No I know it's her. What will I do Sophie if this gets out it will ruin me and your life would be shit." I said
"Baby I think you need to speak to a lawyer, I'm sure blackmail is a felony. Just see what he says, and if you pay it make sure you have the hard copy as well to make sure it don't resurface"
"Your right, I will call Simon right this minute"
I kissed her and pulled out my cell. I explained everything that happened and he said exactly what Sophie said that this is illegal. He also said I should set her up and have the police
Waiting on her. I don't know about the last part I don't want to see anyone go to prison.
