Sophie's POV
Luke had been gone almost two weeks now and I was missing him like crazy. I have been staying at his house most nights, I know it's a longer commute to work but the boy has everything. He called last night from Philadelphia he was playing the baseball stadium there he said it was amazing and the crowd was fantastic. He is playing Jones Beach tonight in upstate New York then he is going to Indianapolis then Chicago then Texas. He don't know yet but I'm planning on surprising him in Texas. Kara is going to come with me, after I teased her about Michael. I got tickets for the show in Houston so I'm going to be in the crowd and he won't even know, I plan to surprise him back stage.
Texas bound
Kara stayed over last and we were catching the 8am flight out of Nashville. We should arrive in Houston at about 1100 so that will give us loads of time to get to the hotel and get ready for the concert. I was actually really excited to see him put on a show, he is still my favourite country artist.
The flight was delayed slightly but we still arrived in Houston before noon.
"You better hope he ain't got another girl backstage when you surprise him" Kara joked
"He ain't like that anymore Kara, he loves me" I snapped
"I'm only jessing Jesus calm down" she said trying to diffuse the situation.
I know he wasn't like that now but Kara has planted the seed and I'm trying hard to shake the thoughts.
"Come on we are going to be late if we don't get a move on" I said
"I'm coming, hey just out of interest where did you tell Luke you were going tonight, because he normally facetimes you before he goes on stage and he can't do that if you are at the venue" Kara asked
"I told him I'm working late and I would talk to him after the concert" I replied
"Good thinking batman. Come on so we can see your country man shake it" she said laughing
"Hey eyes off. You keep your eyes on the guitarist"
We grabbed our things and headed to the venue.
