"Sophie, your not pregnant" she said as a smile creeped up on her face
"Oh thank god, it's way to early in our relationship for that" I said
"It's probably all the stress and everything that's been happening the last few weeks" she said
"Yeah your probably right, I will make an appointment with my doctor and get checked out anyway. Also see about getting on birth control tablets" I said
"You feel better now" she asked
"Hell yes" I said
Just at that my phone rang, it was Luke.
"You mind if I take this his signal had been pretty bad so I have to take it"
"No problem sweetheart. I will catch you later"
I answered the phone
"Hey darlin'" he said in the sexy southern drawl
"Hey baby. How's the road"
"Lonely without you but it's only a short one this time and I will be gone in no time" he said
"No backstage guests" I asked jokingly
"Sophie I promise you I haven't." He said sounding hurt
"That's good. And I know you ain't. Kerrie is my eye In the sky" I said laughing
"Ha ha ha ha" he chucked "so how you doing"
"I'm ok. Actually I have something to tell you" I said
"Is everything ok" he said sounding kinda worried
"Yeah no it's ok. I.... I took a pregnancy test"
"What what do you mean, your not are you" he snapped
"Well I'm glad it was negative after hearing that tone" I snapped back
"I'm just don't think we are at that point yet. You ain't even meet my mama, and I ain't met yours." He said a little softly
"Well you will need to do something about that won't you. And what I'm gonna do is go to the doctors and get birth control so we have no more scares. " I said
"You want me to fly down and come with you I have a day layover" he asked
"It's ok baby, I will see you when you come home. Put the pill to test" I said
"Now that's a plan. And darlin'. When I'm home we can go to Georgia for a few days, there a little lady who I'm sure is going love you"
