I woke to the sound of my cell phone beeping with unread messages. Jesus my head hurts, what in the hell did I drink last night. I grabbed my phone and put it on the charge before fixing myself a cup of coffee. The guys where nowhere to be seen. They must have gone out without me. I picked up my phone to go through my texts and my heart sunk. Reality set in. Shit.
I seen the text from Sophie and then I read the ones I sent her. She was right I was being an ass, a jealous one at that. I dialled up her number, it rang and rang, no answer. I felt a cold shiver come across me, had I fucked yo the best thing ever to happen to me. I decided to send her a text.Me: Sophie I am so so sorry, I should never have made an issue if you going to dinner with an old friend. I hope that you can forgive me. Love Luke xx
Just as I sent it, Carter walked through the door
"Ah the boss man is awake. Y'all have fun last night" he said laughing while talking groceries into the kitchen.
"I can't remember shit. I remember being pissed at Sophie and then nothing. I think I have blown it with her Michael. She ain't answering my calls" I said sipping my coffee and staring at my phone
"Luke everything will be fine. You have apologised, what more can you do" he said
"I know I know. I just want her to light up my phone, you know send one of those, red lipstick I miss you pictures" I said
"Luke go get a shower you look like shit. The boys are out on the boat. If you hurry we can still catch a few" he said
"Fine," I said sitting my cup down and heading to the shower, constantly looking at my phone.
Ten minutes later I was out the shower and feeling half human again. I saw I had a message from Sophie. I quickly opened it.Sophie💞: 😘. Your forgiven. Stop being jealous it don't suit you. I will call you after work xx
