I am walking about on cloud nine, I can't believe I'm going to be a dad again and this time I get to do it from the beginning. Sophie wants to keep it a secret from everyone at the moment and we will announce it at Christmas which is only three weeks away so I think I should be able to keep quiet until then. My cell phone rung it was Caroline, what does she want.
"Hello" I said
"Hi daddy" Thomas replied. He must have her phone
"Hey buddy, what's wrong is everything ok" I asked concerned
"Yes I just wanted to call and say that I asked mama if I could come to your house at Christmas and she said yes" he said all excited
"That's brilliant buddy, I will come and pick you up on the 22nd. Is your mama there, can Dad speak with her please" I said
"Yeah I will just go give her the phone" he said
I heard him shuffling and then I heard Caroline yell at him and then she came in the line
"Caroline" I said
"Hey" she said
"Why did you yell" I asked
"Luke just leave it. I ain't in the mood for an argument" she snapped
"I ain't starting one. Thomas just told me you allowed him to spend Christmas with me and Sophie." I said
"Yes I did. Are you picking him up"
"Yes I will come down on the 21st and we can stay at mamas and leave early on the 22nd. What are you doing" I asking just to be nice
"I'm going to my sisters place" she said
"Ok. Tell Thomas I will see him on the 21st" I said
"Ok. Goodbye Luke"
"Bye"
I hung up and I felt two arms snake round me
"Hey baby, who was on the phone" she asked
"Hey yourself. It was Thomas and then Caroline, she said ok for Christmas, I will pick him up on the 21st and travel up with him and Mama on the 22nd. Are you ok with that" I said
"Yeah baby, but one thing I want to do with just me and you is buy a Christmas tree, well two trees one for my house and one for your house" she said
"Well I have been kinda thinking about that why don't we just by one tree, you know for my place and if you want you can bring some stuff over and like not go home" I said smiling
"Are you asking me to move in with you" she asked
"Em well yes yes I am, what you say" I asked
"I say yes baby 100 times yes"
