I stayed with Sophie most of the day, I just wanted to hold her but I didn't want to push it to far.
"You feeling better now darlin'" I asked as I handed her a glass of water
"Yes thank you. Must have been something I ate or just this whole stressful situation" she replied
"That's my fault and I'm sorry. I will spend the rest of my life making it up to you" I said
"Luke what I want is for you to be faithful. I know you have flirtatious nature and thatbin fine with but I need to know that when you are in the road that you ain't inviting girls backstage for Cody little drinking sessions" she said
"What I will do is I will have Kerrie control everything, anyone who wants to meet me with do it at the meet and greet. I just got stupid that's all. A momentary lapse it will never happen again." I said
"I do believe you Luke I do" she replied
"You don't know how happy that makes me" I said
She smiled at me and said
"So when do you go back on the road" she asked
"Well supposed to be just over two weeks time, but I told Kerrie I ain't going if things with me and you ain't sorted" I said
"Luke don't go throwing your career away for me. Your fans will absolutely hate me for that." She replied
"Well you are my life Sophie, without you in it I'm nothing." I said
She got up off the sofa and walked towards me
"Luke we are gonna be just fine, okay." She said sitting next to me.
"I hope so" I said pulling her close for a hug. I missed this. Just sitting holding her and saying nothing.
"You wanna stay over." She asked
"Only if it's ok with you" I said
"I'm the one who asked. But we are only sleeping. I'm not ready to jump straight back into a sexual relationship. I just wanna ease back in" she said
"Well at this point I will take whatever I can get baby" I replied.
I kissed her on top of her head
"You wanna watch a movie" she asked
"I would love to" I replied
As much as I wanted to make love to her to show her how much I loved her. Cuddling in the couch and watching movies is the next best thing.
