After the best week I have ever had, it was time to go on my fishing trip and Sophie was heading back to work. It's gonna be so weird not having her around, we spent like everyday and every night together. She was stayed at my place last night and I will drop her at work on the way to meet Carter and the boys
"Hey Sophie, y'all better hurry darlin' or you will will late for work" I called upstairs
"Just coming, can you fix me some cereal" she said
"Yeah I only have Lucky Charms" I said
"That will do thank you" she said
I fixed her up some breakfast and brewed some coffee. I was packing the rest of my stuff in my truck when I felt some mine watching me I turned and Sophie was standing at the door, cereal in hand
"Whoa, I wish my dentist was as hot as you" I said waking up to her and placing a kiss in her cheek
"Well I aim to please Mr Bryan" she said smirking
"Y'all ready" I asked
"Yip," she said a little saddened
"What's up baby" I asked
"Just gonna miss you that's all. It's gonna be ages before I see you again." She said
"I will see you next week before I go on the road. We can sort out our schedules and get time together" I said
"You are making me sound like a business transaction" she said
"Not at all baby, just wanna know when I'm seeing your pretty face that's all" I said pulling her in to a hug.
"I'm gonna miss these hugs" she said holding on tight
"Me too"
"You won't mess around while you are away" she whispered
"Don't be silly, why go for hamburger when I have steak at home" I reassured her
An hour later I pulled up outside Sophie work. I got out at walked to the passenger door and helped her out.
"Such the gentleman" she taking my hand
"I will text you when I arrive at the cabin ok"
"I will miss you" she said
"Me to"
I pulled her close and kissed her gently, this turned into a full make out session up against my truck, right outside her work. We were disturbed by someone clearing their throat. We turned and saw a Middle Aged woman standing
"Oh my god your Luke Bryan" she said
"Yes ma'am" I replied
"Sophie when in the hell, what oh my god" she stammered
Sophie was giggling
"Luke this is my work mate Sarah, Sarah this is Luke"
"Nice to meet you ma'am" I said holding out why hand
She shook it and she was shaking. Total fan girlling.
"You have so much to explain her girlfriend, I will meet you inside, coffee morning just got a whole more interesting. Luke a pleasure to meet you. Hopefully get to do it again sometime. Sophie I will meet you I the canteen." She said running inside
"She absolutely loves you," Sophie said
"She seems nice. Well you better go and put her out her misery and gossip on me" I said laughing
"Don't worry I will keep it PG13" she laughed
"Haha yeah like woman don't talk" I laughed
"See ya later baby. And Luke I, I, oh it's ok. Have fun and call me every night ok" she said
I gave her on last kiss and got in my truck. I rolled the window down and said
"Next week baby. Miss you already" I said winking
That made her blush. I drove off and watched her in my rear view she waved and headed into work.
My stomach sank. Damn I'm gonna miss her
