The boys started arriving around 4. I fired up the grill and also made a bonfire. I decided to send Sophie a text just to say hey
Me: Hey Soph, having the guys round for a few drinks and BBQ. Can't wait to our day tomorrow
She replied back right away
Sophie 😉: hey was just thinking about you there ☺️, me to haven't been on a date in like forever
Me: Oh so this is a date????
Sophie😉: em oh I thought, it's ok.
Me: Sophie I'm messing of course it's a date. 😂😂😂
Sophie😉: Asshole 😡, your lucky your cute
Me: why thank you 😊 you should come past tonight
Sophie😉: I would love to but I have so much to do and I wanna be fresh tomorrow and not hungover 😵
Me: damn, well I will let you get on with your busy schedule and I will see you tomorrow x
Sophie😉: looking forward to it x
I was just putting me cell phone back in my pocket when Carter said
"If you are gonna spend all night on the phone then I'm gonna confiscate it" she said laughing
"I was just saying hey" I replied
"Well come on let's get these steaks on the grill I'm starving"
"Your always starving" I laughed
The steaks where ready and my place was staring to get busy, Black Mike brought his cousin Letty with him and she brought a few friends
"So much for it being a guys night," I said to Carter kinda pissed
"You should have invited Sophie" he replied
"I did but she is busy"
"Well you can have fun now can't you" he said
I suppose I should let my hair down a little.
The night was well under way and I had a real buzz going on. I was standing outback smoking a cigar when Letty came outside
"Hey Luke, you have one for me" she asked
"Yeah here you go" I said handing her a cigar
"Didn't know you smoked" she asked
"I don't but I love a cigar when I have been drinking" I said
"So Mike tells me you are thinking about settling down" she said stroking my chest "pity, I heard you are one good fuck"
What the hell was happening, was she coming on to me
"Yeah I was but it's complicated" I said
"Well I ain't and if you fancy a one night meaningless fuck then just let me know" she said turning and going back inside to her friends.
I stood there and stared at the glowing moon. What the hell do I do, should I oh I don't know.
