Sophie and I told Mama everything and to say she was shocked was an understatement.
"Luke I can't believe this I'm in complete shock, how did you not know. Why didn't she say anything and trying to blackmail you well that's just shocking" mama said
"Mama I'm as much in the dark with all of this than you are. I have told her I want a DNA test just to make sure and then I will take it from there. Hell I don't even know anything about him, he might hate me" I said
"Hush boy" mama said
"Yeah Luke how could he not love you" Sophie said
"So when are you going to see your lawyer" mama asked
"Once we get back to Tennessee, I will make an appointment to see him Tuesday. He can contact her and do everything keep it all above board" I said
"Well until then you and that little lady over there enjoy your last couple of days. Now what would y'all like for dinner" mama asked
"How about we go out for dinner" Sophie said
"That would be brilliant, I ain't been out for dinner in ages" mama said
"Well get your glad rags on Mama, we are going out"
We went to the BBQ restaurant in the next town over and it was amazing. And we stopped off at Dairy Queen for I ice cream on the way home. When we got in mama went to bed and Sophie and I where in the living room having a beer,
"Luke baby, how are you really feeling" Sophie asked
"Confused to be honest, angry as well" I said
"Talk to me" she said
"All these years I might have had a kid, someone I could taken fishing, had fun with and I have missed all of that" I said
"Luke you can still do all of that. He is only 10. And when we have babies you can do all of what you missed" she said
"So you want to have babies with me" I asked
"Hell yes, but we need to get this situation sorted." She said
"But that don't mean we can't practice, come on I need to get lost in you baby" I said taking her hand and leading her to the bedroom.
