"Oh, bakit ang saya saya mo? Mukha kang timang." DJ stated as he drove.
Nasa sasakyan niya ako ngayon, on the way na kami sa school.
"Bawal bang maging masaya?" Tanong ko naman, still smiling.
"Kath, do you realize that your first class started 16 minutes ago? Kailan ka pa naging masaya na namiss mo yung first subject mo?" He asked.
I just smiled at him and said, "Nothing can ruin this day. It's my one and only love's birthday!"
Napakunot naman ang noo ni DJ sa sinabi ko.
"One and only love?" He asked, I nodded. He looked at the radio for the date today.
"Hindi ko naman birthday ha?" Sabi niya pa.
"Sino kasing maysabing ikaw. Kapal mo naman." Sabi ko sa kanya. The smile on my face never left.
"Hindi naman birthday ni Mommy Min, or ni Daddy Ted, or ng kuya mo or ate, hindi naman birthday ng aso mo. Hindi naman birthday ni Magui, o ni Lelay. At hindi ko birthday!" He exclaimed.
"Tumigil ka nga, you're driving." Sabi ko sa kanya. He obliged and focused on the road. "Basta, masaya ako ngayon." Sabi ko na lang.
"Sabihin mo na kasi kung sino ang may birthday." Sabi niya ulit.
I just chuckled as he pouted, pero hindi ko sinabi kung sino ang may birthday ngayon.

"Ang ingay mo, Kath. Pinagtitinginan na tayo oh." DJ remarked. Well, he's right. Nakatingin nga sila sa amin as we walked past the parking lot.
"I know I'll never love again, I swear I'll never love again!" I still cotinued singing, because I knew that it annoyed him so much.
"Ang ingay ingay mo." He repeated but I ignored his remarks. "Pangit naman ng boses." He muttered under his breath. But as I've said awhile ago, nothing could ruin this day, so I continued singing.
"Now, I'm one of those crazy girls! Now, I'm one of those crazy girls! Now, i'm one of those crazy girls! Now, I'm one of those crazy girls!"
"Kaaaath." DJ whined as we got in front of my building.
"Ang KJ mo, ang saya saya ko eh." Sabi ko naman, the smile still permanently plastered on my face.
"Para kang tanga, Kath. Tama na." He stated.
"Whatever. Okay bye." Sabi ko naman.
"You have forgotten something." Sabi ni DJ.
Ohhh, yeah.
"Oops, my books. Thanks DJ!" Sabi ko. Maglalakad na sana ako nang nagsalita ulit siya.
"Sabi ko may nakalimutan ka." Sabi niya.
Ohhh, yeah. Now, I remember.
Kinuha ko yung notes niya na nasa bag ko.
