Kathryn's Point of View
It's a sunny and bright day of January 27, 2014. Oh, how great life is!
Bumangon ako, kahit nakakasilaw ang init na galing sa window ko, nakangiti pa rin ako.
I stepped on the cold floor and slipped onto my slipper. Ahhh, another day of happiness. I hope.
Nothing, I swear, nothing can ruin my day today.

"Good morning, Kath! Saya natin ngayon ha?" Seth remarked.
"Sus, masaya naman ako lagi ha?" I stated with a smile.
"Saan ka na pupunta?" He asked.
"Physics class." I answered with a grin.
"Mukha ka ng tanga, pusa. Tama na nga yang kakangiti mo." He teased.
"Ito naman, ang saya ko eh. Panira ka ng mood." I stated with a pout.
Kinurot naman ni Seth ang pisngi ko. I winced in pain.
"Aray ko ha! Ang brutal mo!" reklamo ko.
"I'm just happy for you." he stated out of nowhere. I looked at him in confusion.
"I know what happened a few nights ago." he smirked.
I stayed silent, of course, magkakaibigan sila ni DJ. Pero, does that mean na masaya rin syang break na si DJ at Julia?
"Seth, do you know about what happened to them?" I asked.
Seth was about to speak, he opened his mouth and closed it immediately. Tapos napatingin siya sa likod ko and his face suddenly paled.
I looked behind me. DJ.
"I think it's not me that should tell you the whole story. I should go. Bye, Kath! See you around." He stated as he walked away.
Tapos lumapit naman si DJ.
Anong nangyayari? Are they not friends?
Oh my goodness, may kinalaman ba sina Seth sa paghihiwalay ni DJ at Julia?
I awkwardly smiled at DJ.
"Hi panget, good morning." I greeted him.
"Good morning din, babs." I laughed at his endearment. Babs, short for baboy.
I was about to speak when DJ leaned in to kiss my cheek. God damn it, I did not expect that.
Bigla akong namutla, shit. Hindi naman ganito yung kabog ng puso ko kapag hinahalikan niya ako sa pisngi. I mean, yes, I love him more than anything else, but there was something with the touch of his soft lips on my left cheek.
My whole face was tingling, my heart thumping hard on my chest and unable to speak.
I can imagine how red my face is.
"Oh, nagblublush ka na naman. Kinikilig ka na naman dyan." DJ remarked. Same old, DJ. Conceited.
Well, he's right, kinikilig nga ako. Pero remember, wag kang magpahalata.
I slapped his arm. "Feeling ka rin 'noh! Panira ka ng araw!"
"Panira ba itong mukhang ito? Admit it, Kath, kinikilig ka." Well, shit.
