I sat in the room where they held Lincoln, his eyes never leaving mine. I looked to Bellamy and Miller who had returned and were in discussion. I watched as Miller walked up to Lincoln once again, muttering something quietly before smearing ash across his wounded and bleeding face. Lincoln quickly head butted him and I ran towards Miller, jamming my foot into the back of his knee, watching as he fell to his knees before Lincoln.
I grabbed a fistful of Miller's hair before pulling his head up, to look at the grounder before him, "apologise" I growled.
"Why, I gave him back his traditional mud" Miller spat and I wrapped a hand around his throat, squeezing lightly. I could see Bellamy out of the corner of my eye, fear over his face.
"You disgust me Miller, and you offend Lincoln's traditional dress... apologise before I chain you up beside my friend" I growled once again and watched as Miller looked between me and Bellamy, fear in his eyes. Bellamy remained in place, knowing he would be beside the criminal if he even tried to speak to me. "well?" I pressed.
"I'm sorry grounder" he whispered. I smiled and pushed him to the floor before limping back to my seat. I watched as the two men left the room, holding a finger to my mouth as a key for Lincoln to remain silent. They would probably be listening out.
Soon I heard Octavia and Bellamy arguing about Lincoln, and the fact that Bellamy wouldn't let her see him. I sighed lightly, it's for her best intention. Stay away from the grounder life.
"Why do you even care if I ruined your life? You should want me to go up there. Maybe you'll get lucky and he'll kill me, problem solved" Octavia jabbed, my jaw dropped. Had Bellamy said that to her?
"Octavia, you know I didn't mean that" he sighed and I nodded, he said it in anger. Like many other things, Bellamy had wished he could take back. "I'm not talking to Jaha" Bellamy added, my focus regained. Jaha? Bellamy had shot him, and killed him... or so I thought. I looked to Lincoln then stood up.
"Lincoln, I need to check on something, will you trust Octavia if I send her up here with a knife to protect you?" He looked to me and nodded, trust in his eyes.
"Go, it's important" he muttered, I walked slowly to the drop hatch and dangled my legs down, seeing Jasper below.
"Jas, catch me?" I asked and Jasper laughed, I dropped down, to land in a strong pair of arms. I rolled my eyes when I saw Bellamy smiling at me. "Urgh, let me down" I groaned and Bellamy gently placed me down on my feet, holding onto my arms until I was stable. "Octavia, can you do me a favour?" I asked, looking around the older Blake brother.
"Anything" she promised, I took out a knife, spinning it in my fingers so the handle faced her.
"Go up there, bring Jasper if you must. Lincoln knows I trust both of you. He promised to stay with you and be patient while I talk to Jaha" I turned to bellamy, eyebrows raised. "Since I just found out he was shot and killed by my ex, only to find out he isn't dead after all"
"Yeah, sure. No problem at all" Octavia grabbed Jasper's hand and pulled him towards the ladder while I limped towards the door.
"Wait... Storm, please" Bellamy begged, I turned to him and sighed.
"What Bell, what more could you have to say or do, you've already taken all I had, and all I ever loved. Are you going to apologize for Jaha, well do that to him, because I will never forgive you? You know he is the only family I have left, and other than John and Lincoln, he's the only person to ever show me true caring without hurting me" Bellamy looked down guilty and nodded.
"I'm glad you're okay" He admitted, and I scoffed. Rolling my eyes.
"Okay? I took an arrow to the leg from my best friend, I heard that the man I loved shot my stand in father, and then I watched him torture someone who has done all he could to protect me all the time I've been out of here" Bellamy looked away, ashamed of himself. "I have not been okay for a long time Bellamy. But coming to the ground... This is not my punishment, this is my catalyst for growth" (see if anyone catches that quote ;) ) He nodded before running a hand through his tousled curls.
"You didn't deserve any of this Lib... I really wish we'd never paired, so I didn't hurt you the way I did" He whispered, his voice breaking, which in turn broke my heart a little. Bellamy may have caused me so much pain, but I still never wanted him to be hurting.
"You know the twisted part about this all Bell?" He looked up to me and shook his head. "You weren't the one who hurt me most. You just hurt me little by little... each day, when we both know how easily you could change that" I took a shaky breath before walking out, not wanting to see the look on his face. I ran a hand through my hair as I passed him, my shoulders slumped, and my breathing uneven.
"Lib..." I turned round to see Bellamy looking at me with tears in his eyes. "... just tell me one thing, one word and I will never bring us up again, I'll crush any desire on my part and I will treat you as the friend you deserve" I nodded and he took a deep breath, his hands shaking slightly, before he shoved them into his pockets. "do you love Murphy?"
"Love? No, my relationship never got to be anywhere near that because of you" I whispered before taking a step forward, placing a hand on Bellamy's shoulder. "But Bellamy, I don't love you anymore. I had to force myself to stop when you chose to believe me a liar. I had to change my way of thinking when you jumped into bed with the woman you knew I hated most, I had to change everything about myself when I lost the first man I gave my all to" He nodded, a tear falling from his eye, I quickly swiped it away with my thumb and then stood upright. "I will always have love for you though, after all you were the first and the only man I ever loved"
"As were you" He muttered quietly, looking to the floor.
"Now Bellamy... we both know I am not a man" I chuckled before stepping closer, wrapping my arms around the man in front of me, I heard him sniffle slightly as he brought his arms around my waist and buried his head in my hair. I stroked the back of his head gently and he slowly steadied his breathing, before whispering into my neck,
"I really loved you, and I never meant to hurt you. I am forever sorry Lib, and I'll spend forever trying to make it up to you" I chuckled and pulled back, finally meeting his watery eyes.
"Don't, we're fine. New slate, starting over. No past of Bellamy and the Assassin. Now we're just Bellamy and Storm, two survivors of the 100" He smiled gently and nodded. I finally let go and retreated slightly before turning on my heel and limping back out of the dropship, leaving him stood silently behind me.

To anyone who was interested. The quote was from World Away by Tonight Alive, a song which I have been frequently listening to whilst writing this story, as it is the direction in which I want Storm to take her life, and her frame of mind.
