"Give up control" I whispered to myself, as my hand raised to the door, knocking quickly. I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, the floor suddenly becoming rather interesting, as I interlocked and twisted my fingers on repeat. The door opened slowly, and I forced myself to look up.

Neither of us said a word, we just looked at one another in silence. His hair messier than usual, and eyes red and puffy from tears. Bellamy moved aside, allowing me into his room. Bellamy shut the door behind me and then sat down on his bed, his fingers knotting in the sheets. We sat in silence, both staring at the floor, walls, inanimate objects, but avoiding eye contact. I opened my mouth to speak, but the words caught in my throat, only a crack of sound escaped, gaining Bellamy's attention.

His eyes met mine, and he sighed, I looked down once more. "Give up control" I mumbled again, before looking up and running my hands through my hair and pushing it back. Bellamy chuckled.

"Nervous or scared?" He smiled, easing some of the tension.

"Both? Neither? I don't know" I admitted, "I'm trying something new, something d-Marcus suggested" My words caught, figuring that the word 'dad' might cause problems right now. Bellamy raised an eyebrow, urging me to continue. "You can yell, scream at me for lying, for not telling you the truth. Blame me for keeping you apart, for letting you believe it was someone else from the camp, for letting you think the father wasn't stepping up. Shout, scream, throw things around. It's okay. I deserve it" I mumbled, not wanting to meet his eyes. Bellamy scoffed, before standing up and wrapping his arms around me, which surprised me. I tensed, before relaxing once more, before wrapping my arms around him.

"I don't want to shout Lib, and I'm not angry. Even if I was angry, you don't deserve that, you were doing what you thought was right" He whispered, chin resting on top of my head. "Lib, I get it, you thought I was dead for 90% of your pregnancy, and I hurt you when I came back. I shouted and argued with you the night you gave birth to Lincoln, I lied about Gina..." My eyes teared up once more. "I did nothing but give you grief at first, and you never kept him from me. You let me bond with Lincoln, I got to play with my son, get him to sleep, cheer him up when he cried" Bellmay pulled back, his own eyes watery once more.

I cleared my throat, and yet my voice still cracked as I spoke. "I'm sorry Bell, every time I tried to tell you..." I shook my head, remembering how much had come between us. His eyebrow raised once more, making me bite into my lip. "First there was finding out about Gina..." Bellamy nodded, remembering the day I first met her. "Then you left, and finally, Gina again" I whispered. "How could I tell you when your ex-girlfriend had just died?" I mumbled, looking to his chest, fingers tangling in his shirt.

"Tell me, please" He whispered, his voice barely even loud enough to hear. I looked up, this time my eyebrow raised, but in confusion. "I need to hear the words, from you. Because I can guess, Marcus can avoid the question, but nothing has confirmed it, beyond doubt" He muttered, making me chuckle.

"Bellamy Blake..." I smiled, making him roll his eyes. "Lincoln Bellamy Marcus Blake is your son, no doubt, no questions. You are the only man that even has the possibility of being his father. No question" I clarified, eyes wide, hoping he would understand.

Bellamy met my gaze, a small smile in his eyes. "You mean... you and John?" He asked, making me shake my head, "and no-one in the mountain?" He asked once more, making me slap his head gently.

"Come on Bell, you've known me since we were kids. There is no-one else that I have let touch my body in the way you have. No-one has made me feel how you did" I looked down, blushing gently. "How about I shut up and take you to your son?" I muttered, wanting to change the subject.

Bellamy's demeaner changed, his shoulders lifted up and a smile stretched across his face. "Where is he?" Bellamy asked, his mind once again on the little boy he just found out was his son.
