leggylance: being called annoying is the worst thing ever because you end up afraid that everyone secretly hates you

kmskeith: Lance it's 3 am

kmskeith: wait, who called you annoying? are you sure they weren't joking?

leggylance: short friend and she was definitely serious

kmskeith: I'm sorry Lance

leggylance: it's whatever..

kmskeith: obviously it's not "whatever" because you're up thinking about it at 3 am

leggylance: I have a response to that but you have to reach friendship level 5 first

kmskeith: are you making me level up because you're afraid of strangers on the internet or because your afraid of letting people in?

kmskeith: Lance?

kmskeith: you ignoring me answers that question...

kmskeith: goodnight Lance.. btw I don't think you're annoying. I think you just have shitty friends. I think you need more friends who accept you for you, even at your worst

leggylance: level up. you've reached friendship level 1

kmskeith: thank you. but we really should go to bed

leggylance: please stay up with me

kmskeith: sure.... are you okay?

leggylance: no

kmskeith: I guess I need to level up before you'll talk to me about it though.. right?

leggylance: I don't know

kmskeith: well I'll be here until you figure it out

leggylance: why do you care so much? we just met yesterday..

kmskeith: because I have a feeling you really need someone to care right now

leggylance: I know this is going to sound weird but can you tell me a story about your life?

kmskeith: sure. I have this story from my last foster home if you want to hear it?

leggylance: okay, that works

kmskeith: so my foster parents had a bio daughter and i hated her with a burning passion. we didn't get along at all. we were always fighting and always bickering. sometimes she would get physical but i never hit back because she was a girl and younger than me. it would've been a pretty dick move for me to beat up a little girl, she was 8. i think she was just upset that she wasn't an only child anymore. anyway. sometimes i would climb out my bedroom window and hang out on the roof to watch the stars. we were far enough away from the city that you could see it so clearly. i was up there whenever i was upset, which was frequently. and one night this girl followed me up and pushed me off the roof. i broke my arm and her parents flipped out on her. i was sent to a new foster home for my own safety.

leggylance: holy shit!

kmskeith: yup, luckily my next set of foster parents didn't have any kids.

leggylance: how many foster homes have you been in?

kmskeith: um I think nine? maybe ten?

leggylance: jeez, that must suck!

kmskeith: yup.. but it's fine. what about you? what's your family like?

leggylance: well I have a huge family. I have four siblings, one moved out but the rest still live here. So does my abuela.

kmskeith: abuela? your Spanish?

leggylance: yeah. Cuban specifically. I actually grew up there and moved to America when I was 10

kmskeith: oh wow that's really cool!

leggylance: yeah, it can be

kmskeith: so are you bilingual?

leggylance: yup! English is actually my secondary language

kmskeith: haha maybe you can tutor me. I failed Spanish last year and I'll have to retake it this year

leggylance: I can totally help!

kmskeith: haha thanks

kmskeith: well you're not replying so I guess you finally fell asleep. night Lance. sweet dreams
