August 21 the year later

I skip towards their door knocking excitedly hearing Chrissy's groan but getting the assurance I need to know I'll be let in. "Hi, Shawn," she uses a faked happy tone.

"Where is she?" I look around the room holding my hands together. "I'm here to pick her up, and take her home." I smile at the thought. "Our new home," I giggle, I've been home for two weeks but I was at our new house putting things together, I fixed every room for everyone they way I know they'd want it and I put all of our things away the way that they're supposed to go.

"Well she's not here?" Chrissy speaks wearily. I roll my eyes continuing my search around their condo. I raise an eyebrow opening my mouth to ask her where she is but Chrissy falls against me. "We tried Shawn, we really did but we couldn't do it." She sighs dramatically falling backwards so I'd catch her. "We gave her to Nathan." She shrugs and I nod.

"Thanks baby girl," I kiss her head walking out.

"Chrissy I went to Nathan to her mom to my mom to Brooke to Jeff to Matt to Brian and I even went to a couple hospitals." I whine into the phone while I pull into the driveway of our new house. "Why is she no where to be found?" I've been searching since seven this morning and it's ten right now.

"I don't know," she shrugs sounding quite knowing. "I'll help you look tomorrow but I'm tired as hell." She groans.

"Fine," I roll my eyes. "I'll be back at seven tomorrow." I speak with a sarcastically cheerful tone. "Bye Chrissy," she gives me her goodbye as well ending the call. I signed the papers yesterday for her to be able to see the kids again but she doesn't know, no body does but me and the police. "Fuck," I breath throwing my keys into the bowl of placed at the front. I fixed the house up just like I know she would've wanted it and she can't even see it with me because they're hiding her from me. I fall against the couch and groan tucking myself away in my hoodie.

"Wanna talk about it?" Some small soft hands work on my shoulders. I jump and she giggles it's all too familiar, it's like deja vu and everything is just unfolding so nicely.

"You're, princess," I continue stammering and stuttering in awe and confusion unsure of what to do or say or wether or not she's really mine.

"Shut up and kiss me," she chuckles moving forwards, I bring her into my lap and squeeze her tighter than I ever have. She moans against my lips while I squeeze her hips in delight.

"Ok," somebody's voice rings but still I won't pull away even though she tries and she does. "Can't you just stop," the annoyed sound of Chrissy's voice rings.

"Shawn," her soft hand strokes my cheek making me smile but not pull away. "Shawn," she rolls her eyes pulling back, I attach my lips to her neck. "Teddy bear," she purrs in my ear forcing me to suck in a sharp breath. "We have company," the back of her nails brush over my head. "We just have to wait until they leave." She bites my earlobe softly.

"How'd you do it?" I rest my head on her shoulder. "Or have you guys been testing me for four years?" I slip my hands under her shirt touching her baby soft skin.

"She did it," her mom smiles with great pride. "She did it for you." She kisses Reese's temple and then my head. "Welcome home." She smiles at me.

"Thank you," I nod with a smile. I look up to the top of the stairs but my gaze falls on our wedding picture. "How'd you do it princess?" I suck on her collarbone something I couldn't have done before. If this was last year I'd have already put her to bed and I'd be sitting there trying to do some work. Otherwise I'd be in the den with my friends watching a movie. Either way, now or then, I'm happy and she's happy too.

"White dress," she giggles at me making me smile. "I did one surgery and the rest was me trying to get myself down the isle." Her hands fiddle with my hair while mine play with the clasp of her bra.

"I have a secret to tell you," I whisper everyone else already knows and I planned on telling her before but then I had to leave and everything was so messed up I left it alone. "We're still married." A gasp escapes her lips and she jumps making me smile.

The others cheer at her excitement and our parents smile. "And we're off," her mom stands.

"We have lots of space in the house, take a room." I smile. It has a lot of extra rooms, and I mean we have enough to accommodate everyone plus our little family. Not so little anymore, CJ will be our sixth child and I'm still not even sure if he's the cut off. "Anyone you want." I smile again and she nods thanking me as does her dad.

"He can be the son you never had," Reese smiles kissing me sweetly. Nathan rolls his eyes lifting her off of my lap holding her upside down she giggles.

"Give her back." I whine grabbing her arms and squeezing her. "She's mine now, and none of you can take her away," I tuck her head into my sweatshirt and I can hear her faint giggle and then her mumble, 'you smell good' before her head falls against my chest. Her speech isn't one hundred percent but it's ninth nine, and that's more than what I could've ever imagined.

"We're taking a room too," Brooke calls dragging Geoff to the basement where we have six of our eleven bedrooms. The basement is all underground and it's huge. It even has a mini studio which I know was very important to her when we started looking at houses.

Soon everyone has gone to bedrooms but us, Reese's head still in my sweatshirt. "Are you got princess?" Her head shakes in my chest. "Are you gonna freeze when I bring you out?" She nods and I giggle. "Then be prepared," I smile pulling the sweatshirt back off of her head she covers her face immediately and buries it in my chest as soon as she can. I carry her to our bedroom. "This is gonna be fun."
