I've been telling the hospital for two months no surgeries but they don't think that's smart. They think a risky ass brain surgery that only two percent of people survive is what's best for her. "There," I smile after changing the diaper she has to wear. After this accident she's gotten so popular in the media's eyes that even though she can't model she still has fans and still makes millions more than any of the others she used to compete with.

"Can mama play now?" They boys whine. Adam turns six in a few days and Reese got him the cutest present ever. She went out with the girls and they say she saw it and went off to get it all on her own which is a huge accomplishment.

She gasps and nods slurring a please while clapping her hands. "Alright," I smile lifting up my baby girl. She's still just as skinny as before, she barely looks different except for the glasses she had to wear in the place of contact lenses. "You wanna play?" I smile at her and she nods frantically. "You only have until nana and granddad get here." I set her on the ground watching her roll the cars with the kids. I smile pouring myself some coffee and her some orange juice in her special cup. It's not a bottle they didn't do that to her this time, but it's practically a sippy cup.

"Nana! Granddad!" The kids yell at the knock at our door. We were gonna move but she just needs so much now the small space makes it easier. "Granny! Gramps!" They gasp again Reese crawls away and I watch assuring she doesn't go too far, but it doesn't take her long until she can't crawl any longer.

"Are you really sure you're ok with this?" I bring Reese towards her mother.

"Yeah," she giggles leaning her head against mine. She's always giggling, and laughing she always has a smile on her face.

"Are you ok with her doing this?" I ask her parents for probably the fiftieth time. I just don't want it to look like I'm forcing her into doing this talk show with me.

"She's old enough to make her own decisions." They nod at me and I nod as well.

"Are you ready?" I smile running my hand over her back. She nods at me slowly which is the most normal thing she's done in a while. "You want a sweater?" I touch her bare arm making her shiver. "I'll go get you a sweater." I smile sitting her down by the kids so they can enjoy a little more playing time.

"Shawn?" Her dad walks into the room after knocking twice. "We just wanted to thank you," he sits on the unmade bed. "She needs a lot of attention and you have a lot of kids, you're really her superhero." He laughs at himself. "You don't know how many times she's called you that."

"Really?" I smile grabbing her favourite sweater. It's one she made herself, she took two of the different styles Shawn Mendes sweatshirts and cut them in half then sewed them together. I think it's cute, she said she couldn't decide which one she liked the best. "She doesn't call me anything anymore." I look down slightly, I used to get teddy bear all of the time but she barely talks to me anymore. She's always happy when I'm around though and that makes me happy too. "She doesn't talk to me much either." I can hear her soft crawling pattern, she can't walk very well and she needs a lot of assistance if she does.

"Teddy bear," she slurs making my eyes go wide. As I complained to her father about it not being called any pet names or getting spoken to. "Go?"

"Yeah princess, are you ready?" She's wearing black leggings and a simple white t shirt but she'll soon be wearing her sweater. It's about three sizes too big and every time I offer to make her a smaller one she says no saying it reminds her of when she could wear my clothes.

"Ready," she nods as best she can. Watching her some days is really difficult, just the way she moves and speaks. She used to speak fluently in five languages and now she can barely speak one.

"Then lets go," I take her hands in mine making her stand which she can only do with lots of support. I bring her so her feet rest on top of mine and I wrap her arms around me so she'll stay upright while we walk and I can't hold her.

"Bye bye," while I walk like I do with the kids she giggles at everyone we pass waving goodbye. Once we're out of the condo she stops and her head just lays in my chest. She's silent for the rest of the time.

"Tomorrow I'm playing a show at the ACC," I smile while Reese sits in front of me. "And she said she wanted to come," I smile at her parents. "I thought it might be nice is you guys came too, my sister and parents are coming and they're gonna stay with the kids but I figured we could make it a family thing." I smile and they nod.

"It sounds like fun," her mom chuckles. "I've never seen what you do in person." Reese always shows them videos but they're always really shaky because she could never sit still. She hasn't been to one of my shows since New York. It wasn't that long ago but I've played many many shows since.

"You excited?" I smile making Reese giggle and squeal a soft yes. "Kisses?" I look at her and she smiles using her arms to push herself up as much as she can so she could kiss me.

"Muah!" She smiles while she pecks my lips. I applaud her for getting up to my lips but she falls down before I can kiss her again as reward. "Kisses!" She giggles at the thought.

"More?" I tease and she give a couple of frantic nods. "You haven't had enough?" She crawls like a dog onto the couch and into my lap for more kisses. "Princess," I smile squeezing her. "You're learning so much," I give her a gentile kiss making her smile and laugh.

"Up," she pleads and I nod holding her above my head like I'd do the children. "Happy?" She pokes me cheek.

"Happy," I bring her back down for yet another kiss.
