She lay on top of me, the lawyers gone, the stress levels are high but she wants to celebrate the hopeful life of our young one. She just worries it may be one of the cases where they tell her he knows them better. If he's a Mendes he's a Mendes and he's ours. She's getting someone to run DNA tests with the help of Nathan who's called them back for another appointment. He'll say there was something off with his testing and whatever and then he'll get us a sample of saliva or whatever. From what we're told he's gorgeous, and it's hard to think that all of those days spent mourning over him, could've all been over someone else's child. It's still just as tragic and hard to suffer but if our is around and we'll then we want him home. "What should I make tonight?"

"Why don't we cook together?" I smile leaning up and kissing her again continuing the one that was already started. She deepens the kiss flipping so she's on the bottom, which is rare. She never wants to be the bottom even if she usually ends up being.

"Mhm," she nods moving her hips against mine. "Mhm," she moans as we continue to grind and dry hump each other. She just lets herself get lost in the pleasure, all of the stress gone and she never does this. While I can I take advantage of it, running my hands against her thighs and kissing on her neck. I want her to feel a pleasure she's never known and I don't have to undress her to do that.

She wears a trench coat looking at things, she's just so perfect. So adorable so sweet and angelic. She moves with such grace and poise. "Hello," She smiles at someone we pass, she doesn't know who she's just like that, friendly. She'll talk to anyone that will listen, even if it could get her hurt. "Bonjour mon nounours," (hello my teddy bear) She smiles at me pulling me closer.

"Salu mon petit lutin," (hello my little elf) I smile people think we're insane, we've just been walking up and down the street in front of Nathan's clinic hoping for a glimpse of the boy he says is ours.

"I'm tired of walking," she sighs bringing me to the bench outside of it. "I just wanna sit and wait, and watch." She kisses my hand, covering it with hers. The cold air makes my hands cold as well. She pecks my lips softly before laying herself in my chest. She can hear my racing heart. I wanna see this boy so badly, I wanna know if he's really mine. The door opens and her head turns she stares at the people walking out with a carrier inside lay a tiny baby boy, he's so small, and he's adorable. He's not covered up properly.

His parents gasp and run down the street, hiding almost from us. I know it's sad and scary that we wanna take their kid away, but they took him from us. Reese really wants him back, and I just wanna know my boy's gonna be alright. She won't get to do a lot of things with him that she could with everyone else, and she might never. But that tiny ray of hope she has that he really is ours, that tiny light shiny through the cracks. That's what she's looking at. "N-Nathan wants us," She mumbles after finally pulling her vision off of him.

"You can't scare them like that." He scolds But she gives him the puppy dog eyes.

"But Nathan," she sniffs. I instantly rush to her side, it's a reflex. She was gonna cry and I hate it when she cries, it makes me sad too. "You saw him, he's so perfect, and he looks just like Shawn." She strokes my cheek.

"I know but what if he's not yours?" Nathan sighs. "There are other people with fifteen kids."

"Why'd they run away from us then?" She hugs me tightly. "We're gonna bring our baby home." She mumbles. If he isn't ours she'll be heartbroken, she won't wanna eat or sleep or anything. She stays healthy for me, and now she's being healthy for him, she wants him to come home. And if he's not ours, I won't be the one to tell her, I'll be the shoulder she leans on while she cries. I might cry too.

"The DNA results will be in soon, I'll give them to your lawyer and you guys can talk about it." He sighs as if he already knows it's not ours. She wants to sue the hospital and she wants to bring our baby home. She wants nothing to do with those people until she has a reason.

"Do you think he's gonna come home teddy bear?" She looks up at me with her big brown dough eyes and pouts.

"I hope so," I smile kissing her gently. I'm starting to shrink, and she's happy. She wants me to end up her height some day, but I don't think it'll happen. "But please, please don't get your hopes up just yet, we don't know if he's really ours baby girl." I kiss her forehead.

"If he isn't ours," she sniffs a little. "Can we adopt a baby?" I look into her doe eyes, I wanna say no. It sounds rough, but I don't wanna give up the time I have with her. A baby takes a lot of energy and work.

"Well," I look at Nathan who stares at me as if I were the biggest idiot on the planet. He knows I'm gonna agree.

"Pretty, pretty, please?" She pouts planting soft kisses against my neck, she lay her head on my shoulder. "It's make me really happy?"

"But darling, we don't have the time to care for a baby," I pout at her and she sighs.

"I guess you're right," she looks at the ground. "We don't have time for a baby." She sighs. "Maybe I should start looking for rooms in nursing homes then too, because you always call me your baby." She shrugs a little.

"Come on," I whine, begging her to stop.

"I don't wanna cause you any trouble." She Let's tears well in her eyes. Only to push the act a little farther.

"I don't want any child younger than seven." I huff. "But fine, you can adopt one that you'll call a baby." She jumps on me.

"Can it be six? So we can put him or her in school?"

"Seven," I huff firmly.

"Fine." She whines a little refusing to push anything farther than she already has. It'll be an automatic no then.

"You idiot," Nathan whines. "Now get out, I have patients." He shoos even though he's done for the day, he wants us to leave.

"Let's go home." She grabs my hand.

"I'll run a hot bath," I whisper to her while we exit the building. "And we'll sit for hours watching movies and cuddling and being happy. We're gonna bring home a little boy no matter when."
