I stand outside the shower where all she does is cry. She's been in the shower for an hour already and the kids will be up soon. I went down and made everyone breakfast and I set the table and put everything out and made the coffee but I have to make sure that all is well with her. If she wants me gone I'll leave but I at least need confirmation that she'd come downstairs that she's alright, that we're still on speaking terms. I do admit her seeing Leah there probably didn't look great but she was my nurse. She was checking in on me checking my vital signs and what not. Although the way she was standing did make it look like a lot more. "Hi princess." I smile weakly walking into the shower where she sits.

She hisses at me and I sigh shutting the water off, the steam starts clearing showing me her smudged mascara and running makeup. I take her towel and dry her off softly before I wrap her up in the towel like my baby. I cradle her and bring her out. The curtains are open so as I walk slowly to close them she hisses again. I shut the door and go for the curtains shutting them even if she's not fond of it. I strip slowly while she continues to growl at me but I bring her onto the bed calming her slowly. I lay her naked atop of me and then she's finally silenced. The towel stays over her and she doesn't move. The most movement she makes is to breath. "Wanna tell me what's wrong?" I whisper kissing her cheek making her hiss again.

"Our poor daughter spent her whole night in the ER because of you, she even spent part of her day there and how excited she was to see you," she smiles a little. "She told us you already had a visitor but they let us through because of Aoife. Her excitement was interrupted though, by your current visitor." She growls. I thought Leah was the nurse sent to check in on me, not for a minute did I think she wasn't. Although I'd be mad at Reese too if I found Geoff in her hospital room. And she barely knows Leah either so she doesn't know wether it was friendly or not.

"I thought she was," her eyes roll and she tries to stand but I keep her down, naked cuddling is supposed to relieve stress not crest more. "Baby girl I promise you."

"You promise me nothing, all you do with those promises is brake them." She tries again to get up but I hold her down.

"You fight me a lot, why don't you ever think maybe I'm not lying?" I start getting angry at her which is never good, it also hasn't really happened since high school. Sure I don't always agree with her opinion but I've never gotten mad at her for it. "Maybe she lied to me, maybe I'm not the one in the wrong here." I push her off and she falls to the ground.

"Really Shawn?" She growls again. "Are we gonna go back to high school now? Where are your friends to keep watch, hmm? Where are the sharp tools you're going to hit me with?" She looks around pulling on a bra, a lacy, lacy bra and then a thong she knows drives me insane.

"I've had it with you not believing me!" I groan slamming my fist against the dresser putting a small dent into it.

"Maybe I should just go elsewhere for a little while." She shrugs rolling her eyes a little while pulling on her favourite camo pants and a white crop top. "Let you blow all of your steam because I don't wanna deal with this." She walks down the stairs angrily while I pull the shirt back over my head, the last item of my outfit.

"I am not done with this discussion." I follow her quickly.

"Well I am," I move right up close to her so she's pressed against the door and me. Her head at my chest and she groans. "I'm going somewhere else, somewhere that you're not." She pushes me away.

"Isn't today the day you promised you'd do all of that stuff with the boys?" I raise an eyebrow cockily, and she laughs bitterly.

"That was yesterday sweetie, but instead I spent my time watching you cozy up to the girl you tried to leave me for," she pushes me again. "Bitch."

"Why the fuck were you with Brian," I growl at her while she plays with the short strands of her hair. "Why the fuck were you with Brian!" I growl a little slamming on the brakes seeing the upcoming red light.

"Because I wanted to get away from you!" It's about midnight and I've been trying to stay calm all day, I tried so hard not to be mad at her but then I found her with Brian.

"So why'd you pick Brian?" My voice goes softer than before, still somewhat harsh but it's not as much of a growl as before.

"Because I knew it would bother you, and look." She smiles falsely. "It did," she brings her knees to her chest sinking in her seat with an evil smile plastered across her face.

"Yeah it pisses me off, I didn't go and sleep with Brooke did I?" I shake my head a little driving back into aurora.

"I'm going out tonight," she explains smugly waiting for my reaction knowing it won't be a good one.

"Why are you going out at midnight?" I shake my head a little.

"Wanna get some more brain damage done," she smiles saying things I never thought I'd hear my innocent baby girl say. "Something worse than what you gave me." She shrugs a little fairly nonchalantly.

"You're not going out tonight, there's a lot of bad things going on at night clubs and I don't want you getting hurt." I pull into the driveway and then the garage shutting the car off and watching as she runs towards a car that waits at the curb.

"I guess it's just a risk I'm willing to take."
