The bell finally rings after a very boring two hours of history. I'm so happy Nessa agreed to go Bela Cafe for lunch today, I mean it wasn't like she wasn't going to deny the offer she adores the place as much as me.
"These milkshakes are going to be the death of me," I say smiling like I won the lottery, "sorry about yesterday, I just don't see the reason of talking about Hayden like he's a god."
"I'm sorry I couldn't stop rambling. He's just always been a big thing in college but now that you made me think about it, he really is just a student. A good looking one." Nessa says finishing the last bits of her pancake.
"You're so in love with him." I say smirking as I roll my eyes at her.
"Shut up, he's just cute." Nessa mumbles.
I suddenly felt a vibration coming from my phone.
Hayden - Hey I was thinking you could come over to my house to work on the assignment.
Mia- Sure.
Hayden - 10 oaks road. Come at 3.
"Looks like I have to go. Hayden's ask if I could work on the assignment." I said getting ready to leave.
"Okay cool, see you tomorrow." Nessa said while hugging me before walking towards Maria. Cool? She was so not cool, luckily I didn't tell her that it was happening at his house. She probably would have fainted.
After watching the latest episode of teen wolf it was finally 2:30. Thank god that Hayden's house is just a 20 minutes walk away from mine.
"Hey Luke I'm leaving to go to my friends house I told you about earlier to work on an assignment." I said walking in on Luke face timing his girlfriend Kiana. She's so nice and sweet, she's like the sister I never had. Why she's with Luke? I honestly have no idea.
"So what. Get out of my room." He says throwing a pillow at me. Rude.
"For that I ain't shutting the door. Bye." I responded back before running out of the house laughing, knowing how much he hates it when you leave his bedroom door open. To be honest though, I also hate it when people don't lock my door after opening it themselves.
After 20 minutes I had arrived at Hayden house and all I can say was woah! His house is fricken huge. Guess it makes sense with what Nessa was telling me about his parents but this house, it definitely costs a fortune.
Walking up to the front door, I passed the ginormous front garden which was dominated by large pine trees and scattered all around the edges were the most beautiful flowers I had ever seen. From ravishing scarlet red roses to dazzling rosy pink tulips.
I knocked on the door and a few moments later Hayden opened it with a huge grin on his face. Huh, I wonder what he's so happy about.
"Hey Mia, come on in," he said.
Making our way to the living room, I took a seat on the sofa. We spent at least an hour talking before actually doing some work. He told me about his dads hotel business and how he is supposed to be one to take over. His mum owns a little bakery downtown which he promised to take me too one day. We talked about everything from school, movies, tv shows, music, and a lot more. Being around Hayden was actually so much fun, he wasn't what I expected. He made me laugh a lot, and was so easy to talk to. I think I might have made a really good friend.
After about 90 minutes of working on the assignment we decided that it would be best to take a break.
"I'm going to grab a cookie from the kitchen, want one?" Hayden asked getting up from his seat.
"Sure, I'll come with you." I say following him to the kitchen.
"Looks like we're going to finish the assignment in no time." Hayden said placing a plate full of different flavoured cookies on the marbled island.
"I know right. We did good." I say smiling before taking a white chocolate chip cookie from the plate. "Wow these are delicious."
"My mum baked them. Like I said before I'll take you to her bakery soon." Hayden said.
"You better, really soon because I'll be coming here everyday just for these cookies." I responded taking another cookie.
"I wouldn't mind that." Hayden said with his cute smile making me smile back.
Suddenly the front door swung open and in walked a guy with curly black hair, glimmering emerald green eyes and tanned skin. Damn he's hot. He's fairly tall and muscular. Realising there was a high chance I would probably start drooling I stopped staring and snapped back to reality.
"Nate! I thought you weren't able to come this weekend" Hayden said walking towards him, giving him a hug.
"Yeah I didn't think I'll be able to make it to be honest but I was able to come because I have a free day this Friday but that does mean I have to leave Sunday night to finish my work. Mum home? I want to surprise her. Nate said as he looked around the kitchen until his eyes landed on me. Oh shit. His eyes are fucking mesmerising and that jawline though, so sharp. Gosh Mia snap out of it!
"Whose the friend?" Questioned Nate as he turned back to Hayden.
"Oh yeah Nate meet Mia-"
"Parker." I say.
"She's new in college. She's in my psychology class. We were just working on an assignment together." Hayden said.
"Cool. I'm just going to go freshen up and then go see mum at the bakery, when I'm back you have to catch me up on everything." Nate said before grabbing a cookie and walking out.
"Who was that?" I asked Hayden.
"He's my brother. I don't get to see him much cause he's studying English literature in university about two hours away from here but he always tries to drive back on the weekends to see us."
"That's sweet, uni must be exhausting. To drive back every weekend with all that uni work, family must really mean a lot to him." I said smiling at the fact.
"Yeah family." Hayden mumbled before asking, "so you want to get back to the assignment?"
"I don't think so, I'm actually quite tired maybe tomorrow." I said as I walked into the living room to pack my stuff.
"Yeah sure, maybe after college we could walk to mine?" Hayden suggested following me to the front door.
"That sounds good." I say sending him a warm smile before heading out. "See you tomorrow."
