Chapter 14

Whilst the boys were out getting food, we found some more candle lamps in the closest and lit them all placed them all over the room.

Sophia told us that Matty said sometimes the power goes out when there is a strong storm passing by and that it's most likely going come back tomorrow morning which means no internet or tv. I'm not too attached to my phone so I'm not too bothered but Nessa definitely is.

"How am I going to survive a whole night without internet?!" Exclaimed Nessa.

"Chill, Nessa it's fine. We're all here so it'll be fun." I said putting the last blanket and pillow I could find on the coach.

"Yeah I guess." She mumbled.

Just then the boys burst through the door with the pizzas. Nate came and sat down next to me and we all started eating.

"So guys we popped into the supermarket to get some ingredients for breakfast tomorrow and while we were there we got dessert." Dylan said placing cakes, cupcakes and doughnuts on the table.

"Mia, I got you some white chocolate chip cookies. I know how much you like them." Said Nate handing me the cookies whilst sending me a smile.

"Thank you." I replied quickly turning my face around looking elsewhere hiding my blush. He remembered.

Today has definitely been good. Pranking Nate was the highlight of my day. I am a little worried about how he will retaliate though, from what Matty was telling me Nate seems to be almost as good as me when it comes to pulling pranks especially with the help from Dylan.

"So I guess it's fair to say Mia has won this pranking thing." Said Nessa.

"Agreed. Have to say big bro, compared to Mia's your little scaring prank was a tad bit shit." Laughed Hayden causing him to receive a glare from Nate.

"That was your idea idiot." Said Nate throwing a pillow at him.

"I must admit she did get you good. Waking up to watch you with just a towel being chased was entertaining." Laughed Sophia causing me to smile.

"Thanks guys but I can't take all the credit Matty gave me the idea." I smiled at Matty.

"You know part of me thinks that you only took my clothes so you can see my amazing abs." Laughed Nate causing me to choke on my drink.

"Please. I've seen better and anyway like I said it was Matty's idea." I replied knowing fully that what I was saying was as a lie but I didn't want to feed on his ego.

"Sooo Matty want to explain anything?" Laughed Nate before getting hit with a pillow by Matty.

"So is this prank war between you's over now?" asked Nessa.

"Not a chance. I will admit Mia you did good but nobody pulls a prank like Nathaniel Sanders. Be prepared Parker." Nate winked at me.

"Oh this is going to be fun!" Dylan said high-fiving Nate.

"Bring it on Sanders."

Since there was no power, we decided to pass time by playing some games. We started off with never have I ever and it's fair to say we all definitely learnt a lot about each other, for example how Dylan has cried watching titanic. Sophia, Nessa and I awed at this whilst the boys laughed.

Sophia later decided we should play truth or dare. Sophia started it off by spinning her water bottle in the middle of the table. We all watched it spin as it got slower and slower. It stopped. "So Nessa. Truth or dare?"
