Chapter 10

About a week has passed since the party at Calvin's house. I don't think I've ever been more glad to have a week off college. This term has been so stressful, Test after test after test. Ugh! It honestly makes me sick. But hey, at least I can finally chill for a week.

After spending a little time with my dad and brother this morning I made my way to meet Nessa, Hayden and Noah at a cafe down the road for a late breakfast and I am absolutely starving. To be fair though I'm always hungry so its nothing new really.

When I arrived at the cafe the guys were all ready there. I ordered some waffles whilst we were trying to decide what to do for the rest of the day.

"Why don't we go to the haunted house that's opened down town, get in the Halloween spirit considering it's tomorrow." suggested Noah.

"Sounds good to me." Hayden responded.

"Ermm how about we watch a movie instead?" Said Nessa.

"Aww is little Nessa scared." Noah said whilst tapping Nessa on her head.

"No! And get your filthy hands of me asshole."  Nessa responded making us all laugh.

"Okay then haunted house it is lets meet round mine around 7pm and we can all go together in Noahs car." Said Hayden.

After the cafe Nessa and I spent some time doing a little bit of shopping at the mall whilst the boys went to do whatever it is they do. We bought some new clothes and were on our way to Hayden's house to go to the haunted house. To be honest I was a little nervous. I have never been to a haunted house before and I hate things jumping out at me but it'll definitely be fun. I can't say the same for Nessa though poor girl looks absolutely terrified.

We had arrived at the haunted house and bought our tickets. Honestly you would think that the boys would be excited considering it was their idea but Noah was absolutely shitting it, although he was trying to act like he was perfectly fine. Typical.

We started walking through the house and already the place was giving me the creeps. Then all of a sudden a clown holding an axe jumped right out in front of us scaring the life out of us.

"Okay fuck this shit I'm out." Noah said trying to leave but was blocked by Hayden who kept pushing him forward.

"Come on dude, this was your idea in the first place. There's no turning back now." laughed Hayden.

"Why did I have to suggest this" Noah mumbled causing us all to laugh.

Ten minutes in and Nessa has got her hands around Noah's waist while he holds her close to him walking behind Hayden and I who are admiring every detail in the corridor. Soon after the corridor goes pitch black and a loud piercing scream is heard I was so shaken by it that I quickly grabbed Hayden's hand who jumped closer to me. Once the screaming had stopped the lights came back on and I have somehow ended up in the 'Good Guy' doll factory. I must have been so shook that I didn't realise Hayden had taken me to a room separating us from Nessa and Noah. 

"You okay?" Hayden asked as he squeezed my hand.

"I'm okay"

Returning back to reality I take a look around the room, noticing about a hundred of 'Good Guy' dolls stacked up everywhere. "Wow it's just like the movie."

"Right. It's fucking creepy." Hayden said as he walks towards one of the dolls that's placed in it's yellow box. Not wanting to let go of his hand I stick beside him. Hayden grabs the box. "I don't understand what is suppose to be happening." He shows the box to me and we both stand in silence staring at it confused.
