Chapter 46

Waking up in LA has got to be one of the best feelings ever. The weather here is amazing, definitely better than the UK that's for sure.

Me, Sophia and Nessa all ended up sleeping in Sophia's room last night, after dinner at a restaurant close by we went into her room and talked nonstop.

We are now all currently getting ready to head out to Denny's for breakfast.

"Do you know if Nate's coming?" Nessa asked me as she does her make up at the dressing table.

"I don't know." I sighed. "Since we got here all he seems to be doing is working on his laptop, he didn't even come out to dinner last night."

"I understand how you feel." Sophia, who was lying on her bed all dressed up to leave, said. "But try not to be too harsh on him, I know he's stressed."

"Has he spoken to you?" I asked.

"Not really, but trust me Mia, I've known Nate for years and I know he really loves you, it's just something is bothering him." My eyes widened at the fact that she noticed something off with Nate, that being his dad.

Hiding the fact that I know what's bothering him I just nodded in agreement. I feel like I've given Nate plenty of time, I know he's not doing this on purpose but I'm starting to worry. I decided to push these thoughts all to one side for now, I'm on holiday and I want to enjoy it.

"Girls, are you ready?" Matty knocked on the bedroom door.

"Coming." Sophia replied before we all made our way out of the house to drive to Denny's.

After breakfast us girls suggested to head to The Grove to do some shopping because honestly from Instagram and YouTube it seems America have better stuff than back home but before heading to mall we decided made a pit stop at Santa Monica pier because it looked gorgeous. It was really fun to spend time with everyone there and play the arcade games. We even went on the Ferris wheel and a rollercoaster which was great fun.

Three and a half hours later and many many shopping bags in my hand we started making our way back to the villa.

The Grove was absolutely amazing, I loved it. The shops were great and the street was stunning. We even stopped for some food which was also beautiful. Even though Nate was here it didn't seem like he was with us, his mind seem to be somewhere else which was upsetting.

We were now back at the villa and I was packing all my bags away. It's safe to say I spent quite a lot today but hey you only live once right. I mostly bought clothes and shoes but I did buy some bits and bobs from bath and body works as well, such as this banana split candle which smells amazing.

For dinner tonight everyone decided to kind of do their own things which was fine by me as Matty and I have planned to go to the Hard Rock Cafe tonight for food. Dylan and Vanessa are going on a date I think whilst Sophia, Noah, Hayden and Josh are all going to the movies to watch the incredibles 2. As far as Nate goes, I'm going to go and ask if he wants to come as well.

Spotting him on the terrace I walked over to him before realising he was on the phone.

"Give me a minute." He said as he heard me come. "Hey what's up?"

"Er, I was just wondering if you wanted to come out for food with me and Matty?"

"Unfortunately I can't really right now Mia." He replied looking a bit upset.

"Erm okay but I just thought considering how we haven't spent much time together over the past month that we could -" I don't know why I said this knowing it wouldn't change things but I really wanted to spend time with him.
