Chapter 40

The blinding sunlight shining through my curtains woke me up with a smile on my face. Turning my head, I saw Nate laying right next to me, his arms wrapped protectively around my waist. He looks so peaceful. I'm so happy I got him back. I don't know what I would do without a him. Like I said last night I love him, so much. Honestly, I think I knew I loved him a while ago but seeing him yesterday confirmed all those feelings. I have never felt like this about anyone.

Looking at Nate brought a smile to my face, I missed him so damn much. He looks so innocent when he's sleeping.

"It's rude to stare munchkin." He laughed quietly. Munchkin. It's been a while since I've heard that.

"I was not staring at you." I replied

"Yeah right, I mean who can blame you though." He laughed.

"Oh please, can your ego get any bigger."

"You know you love me."

"Hmm, yes unfortunately." I laughed.

"Let's go back to sleep." He said wrapping his arms tight around my waist.

Looking at the time it was only 9am, looks like I'm missing college so I decided to fall back asleep for a little while but we were soon woken up by someone who decided to barge into my room.

"Erm, what the fuck." Luke said causing me to jump up.

"Why are you in my room!"

"Why is he in your bed?"

"Er it's not what it looks like." I said whilst Nate had a smirk on his face. Stupid idiot.

"You." He said glaring at Nate. "Have 5 seconds to get out of my little sisters bed."

"Lukeeee."

"Hey, your lucky it wasn't dad who walked in." Very true. If it was dad I'm not sure what he would do to be honest but his reaction would definitely be worse than Luke's.

"Wait a minute, I thought you guys broke up."

Nate looked upset hearing that we broke up but I couldn't stop smiling. "He got his memory back." I said.

"That's great man, but seriously get out of her bed." Luke said before Nate jumped out of my bed causing me to laugh.

Luke's always been protective of me but I know he secretly likes Nate.

"Now, I'm going down to make breakfast. Are you staying." He asked Nate suddenly in such a better mood.

"Thanks but no, I best go and tell my mum and Hayden the good news, I'll call you later." He said before giving me a kiss.

"Seriously, don't kiss her in front of me!" Luke said with a disgusted facial expression.

"Sorry dude, I can't help it" Nate winked at me and patted Luke on his back before leaving.

"I don't like him."

"Please, we both know you do, now get out!" I said before throwing my pillow at him. "And knock on my door next time!"

"Jeez woman! Chill." He laughed before leaving.

Brothers. So annoying.

It's a little while later and I have done nothing productive considering the stack of homework that is sat on my desk. Oh well. I can do it tomorrow considering it's pretty easy. I then got a text from Nate.

Nate: Hey Beautiful x The whole gang is meeting up later to go paint balling, you in?? I'll pick you up :)

Paint balling. Sounds good. Sending Nate a quick reply I jumped into the shower and got ready. Soon enough I saw Nate pull up outside.
