Chapter 42

A week has past since Nate found his dad's pill's and I haven't really seen him since. We've been talking over the phone and texting but he's been a bit busy recently, I think he's trying to find out what they were for.

I've had such a chill week now that college is finally over. I've been spending a lot of time with Nessa, Hayden and Noah since we haven't really seen each other that much. We've been to the movies, bowling and a theme park in the town not to far from here. When we were there Noah thought it would be a good idea to go on the ride which flips you upside down after eating. Needless to say he wasn't feeling too good after he vomited all over Hayden shoes which to be fair was pretty damn funny. I don't think Hayden thought so considering he had to bin them there and buy some old grandad slippers to go home with. No way was Nessa letting him in her car with those shoes.

I also spent a day with Alex. He has a friend that works at the Zoo who let us in for free so we went there for a couple of hours. Luke was supposed to come as well but he went to see Kiana. Alex is great, he's definitely like a brother to me now and we've gotten so close over these past few months that we've known each other.

Yesterday it was Ed Sheeran's concert which I bought Nessa tickets to for Christmas. She asked me to go with her and of course I said yes. It's bloody Ed Sheeran! He was amazing of course, I almost died when he came on stage. We had to queue up for ages though to get to the front but it was so worth it. The view we had was amazing.

I'm currently at the mall with Nessa, it's Dylan's birthday soon and she's going to his family party and will be meeting his family for the first time and she's pretty damn nervous.

"What if they don't like me Mia?!"

"Ness, you are amazing ok. They're gonna love you." I laughed.

"I hope so. I want his family to like me."

"They will. Plus they love Dylan and well he's a little bit crazy." I joked.

"Hey! That's my boyfriend you're talking about!" She laughed.

"So, have you decided on what you want to get him?"

"No! Why is it so damn hard to buy a gift for him." She exclaimed. "I've been looking for something for weeks and still nothing"

"Well what does he like?"

"A lot of things but I don't want to get him something generic you know. I want to get him something meaningful. Something special." She sighed.

"I'm sure you'll think of something." I reassured her. "Now come on let's get some food, we've been here for ages and I'm absolutely starving."

"You're always starving." She giggled.

"Very true. Now come on!"

After a little trip to Nando's, we decided to call it a day and Nessa dropped me back home. She said she has an idea on what she's going to get Dylan but doesn't want to tell me yet until she gets it.

Opening the door I realised that I was the only one home for now. Luke is out and dad is out with Julie I think.

Walking into the living room I flopped onto the sofa and started flicking through the channels. Going over to Disney channel I saw that high school musical was on. Oh yes! I haven't seen this in a while, no matter how old I get I will never stop watching the old Disney shows, like Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverley place, That's so Raven and Suite life of Zack and Cody. My childhood consisted of watching all these shows and more plus all the old Disney movies. Oh how life was so much simpler then.
