"C'mon," you whined playfully, trying to escape Cassidy's hands on your eyes to look at where you were going. "Cas, please, just let me look."

"Not a chance, love," he purred, slowly coming to a stop. It wasn't his idea to take you to a nice bar a bit away from home, in fact, it was Jesse's. "You can look now." He dropped his hands and shoved them into the pockets of his hoodie, watching with a small smile as you turned to him and grinned.

"All this way?" You asked, walking inside with him and finding an isolated booth.

"All this way," he confirmed, getting the attention of a waitress and ordering two bottles of beer. "D'ya like it?"

"Never thought you'd be this romantic," you began, a precious light in your eyes that Cassidy never wanted to see fade. "I love it. Thank you, Cas."

"Nothin' but the best for you, love." He grinned, unable to stop himself.
