You were talking about something you held close to your heart, a subject you had almost full passion for, and yet, the one person who was supposed to be listening had become distracted; with a light in his eyes, Cassidy watched you, his ears hearing the passion in your voice yet ignoring the words, his eyes becoming lost with every little movement of yours, his lips tugging into a gentle smile when he felt your hand touch his own.
"Did you hear what I just said?" You asked, a smile on your lips, Cassidy shook his head quickly to try and compose himself.
"Sorry, I got distracted by your beauty," he chuckled softly, a lovesick brightness in his eyes turning into a flame when you grinned and blushed. "Care to repeat it, love?"
"I said," you tried to disguise your blush but failed. "I love you."
"I love you too."
