When there was a knock at your door, you instantly knew who it was. Erik. He had not slept properly for a while and would come to your house in need of some downtime, which you happily provided.

"You alright, Erik?" You asked when you answered the door, instantly letting him in. He looked as if he had been crying, which made your soul ache for him.

"I can't sleep, can I stay here?" He asked quietly, you gave him a small smile and nodded.

"Of course," you went into the living room with him and let him sit down. "Tea?"

"That would be wonderful," he said, giving you a small, broken, smile before you left to go to the kitchen; you returned moments later with the tea and sat down next to him. "It's late. Shouldn't you be asleep?"

"I couldn't sleep either," you admitted, resting your head on his shoulder. "Y'know, you look like you could use a hug."

"I do?" He put the tea on the coffee table beside the sofa and turned to you, his eyes showcased just how broken he was, and you felt like crying at the sight. He had been through so much, and his actions weren't at all without understanding; you actually understood why he did things, why he said and thought things.

"Yeah," you said softly, hugging him tightly. "You can stay here as long as you need, alright?"

"Thank you, (Y/N)," he mumbled. "I sometimes don't know what I'd do without you."
