You gestured for Hugo to come over to you, and like an obedient dog, he did. Sitting beside you, the infamous Nazi killer raised his eyebrows and waited for you to speak.
"Can I tell you a secret?" You asked, looking into his eyes and smiling a little, although you were incredibly nervous.
"Yeah," he nodded slowly and said the word quietly, watching you with concern.
"Stiglitz, I..." You took a deep breath. "I really like you is all." He smirked and nodded again before pressing a quick kiss to your cheek and murmuring his own feeling for you quietly.
