Running into the kitchen, Cassidy panted and hid behind you, his eyes wide but amused.

"What happened?" You asked, chuckling, you could hear the three children you shared with him just outside, playing jovially but also asking where their father was.

"The kids, they ambushed me," Cassidy said, pulling his hood up and taking his sunglasses off. "Little shites tried to get me to go into the sun."

"I'll go have a word with them," you laughed, walking away from him and outside to your three troublemakers. "Alright, who tried to get your Dad out in the sun?"

"I did," the oldest, Ewan, answered with a shrug. "He's so pale, Mum, he needs the sun!"

"Okay," you tried your best not to break into a fit of laughter. "Well, your dear old Dad doesn't take too kindly to the sun, so don't do it again, alright?"
