Cassidy sat with Iwan and Ewan, books sprawled out on the table in front of them, and Jesse sat beside them; you were in the kitchen making dinner, contently listening to your husband and best friend teaching your sons all about Maths.

"Alright," Jesse said, opening one book and furrowing his brows. "Do y'all really have to learn this?"

"Yeah," Iwan sighed. "Please tell me you can help, Dad." He turned to Cassidy, who smiled and nodded.

"Of course I can, lad," Cassidy reassured. "Even Uncle Jesse can."

"Can I?" Jesse asked, he heard you chuckle from the kitchen before he saw you appear in the doorway.

"Love," Cassidy grinned. "You any good at Maths?"

"Nope," you shook your head and your sons sighed. "Sorry, Iwan, Ewan. But your Dad and Uncle Jesse can help."

"Now, look here," Cassidy began, writing up an easy equation, his sons and Jesse watching closely. "See this?"

"The little X thing?" Ewan asked, eyes wide as he tried to understand, his brother nodding in agreement; for once, they weren't arguing, instead, they were bonded by their mutual confusion.

"Yeah," Cassidy nodded, continuing to slowly write the equation. "See, it goes here, and this little three goes here. Got it?"

"I think I understand it now!" The boys grinned, looking up at their father happily. Jesse, however, was still majorly confused by the whole thing.

"You do?" Cassidy grinned back, pride washing over him.

"Yeah," the brothers nodded enthusiastically. "Thanks, Dad!"

"You're welcome lads," Cassidy chuckled, ruffling his sons' hair. "You understand now, yeah?"

"Yeah!" Iwan grinned, looking up at his father happily.

"Duh! It's easy!" Ewan shrugged, trying to act casual.

"'Course it is." Cassidy smiled proudly.
