You cried as you entered his room, the tears spilling like cheap wine on a carpet, and almost immediately, he ran toward you and captured you in his arms.
"Darling," he said, guiding you toward the sofa and sitting you down on it before kneeling between your legs and looking up at you with concern. "What's wrong?"
"You're gonna hate me," you sniffled, choking back a painful sob as you looked down at him.
"I won't," Archie reassured, grasping your hands and holding them tightly. "There is nothing you could do to make me love you any less. Okay? My love doesn't come with strings. Just tell me what's wrong."
"Our child," you cried, referring to the unborn child you hadn't long known about. "Archie, it-"
"Wasn't your fault," he said softly, compassionately. "Darling, (Y/N), it wasn't your fault. Alright? I don't hate you, I don't love you any less. We can get through this. You and I."
