You kept playing one certain song on repeat because it made you smile and reminded you of Erik, the man you had fallen in love with, the man who would let you sit on his lap at any given point just because he liked the way you felt in his embrace.

"If you play that stupid song again, I swear down..." He mumbled, resting his head on your shoulder and wrapping his arms around you tightly.

"How can you not like this stupid song, though?" You grinned brightly, a grin he could never stop loving.

"Because it's terrible," he said, taking a step back and slowly leading you back to bed. "And whoever sings it is nothing compared to you."

"Well," you began, falling on top of him when he got back into bed. "Whoever sculpted the statue of David clearly never saw you." He chuckled and grinned at that, which made you smile and say, "You should smile more often. It's cute."

"Like you then?" He raised an eyebrow and grin died into a smirk.

"Nothing like me," you said softly, cupping his cheeks. "Far better."

"I find that hard to believe."
