You were the only person that made Will feel as if he was normal, as if he could laugh and not have to go and get into killers' minds the next day. Not even Hannibal achieved the level of trust you had, nor Jack Crawford, nor anyone else. Only you.
"Go away," you grumbled when your bedroom curtains opened, you heard a stifled laugh from beside your bed.
"Maybe I will," Will teased quietly, gingerly pressing a kiss to your cheek.
"Actually don't," you yawned, sitting up in your bed and giving him a lazy smile; although you had Will's complete trust, he still didn't often look you in the eyes, which you had to admit, you understood. "I need you so bad, wouldn't last a day without you, Will."
"I know," he whispered, giving you a gentle smile before looking down at the floor. "I wouldn't last a day without you, either."
"Come here," you said, tossing the duvet aside so that the FBI profiler could get in beside you; Will didn't make a move to touch you, and you gently placed your hand on his chest. "Take a nap with me. You know you need it, I know you need it. And if you have a nightmare, I'm here."
