"What did you do?" Charles asked, looking at the dishevelled room he shared with you.

"Please don't be mad," you began, bouncing on your heels slightly. "But there was a spider, and I tried to kill it, but it ran away, so I kept trying to find it and- stop laughing!" Charles was almost crying as he laughed, he should have known that your hatred of the arachnids would lead to you almost destroying your room.

"Sorry, darling," he choked out between laughs, trying to stop himself from bursting out with laughter again. "I just think it's adorable."
