Jeron has been ringing the bell for at least three times but no one has opened the door yet. He took his phone out from his pocket and was about to dial Karl's number when she appeared.

"Where have you been?" he asked and she welcomed him with a kiss. "I'm sorry I'm late."

"I just checked the pool to see if it's clean. Baka lang gusto mo kasi magswimming," she lied. Reality is, Jeric went to see her to tell her to stop doing what she was planning. Jeron knew it. Karl refused. She went down to see him off.

Jeron's no to her answer was too harsh. Karl was already opening her unit. "Ayoko. We'll stay indoors until tomorrow. By the way, flowers for mi lady."

Karl smiled sweetly. "Thank you sweetheart," she said and tiptoed to give him a kiss. She put the bouquet on her room while Jeron headed straight to the fridge.

"Do you want us to go to the supermarket? Wala na namang laman yung ref mo," he asked her.

"Sabi mo kailangan bumawi. I think your sleep over plan is a great idea," she answered from the inside.

"Really?"

"Yeah. As long as you can promise me that there wouldn't be any rape case tonight," she answered which made Jeron die from laughter.

"I promise there wouldn't be any as long as you promise me you'll be watching the third game the day after tomorrow," he told her. He knew he has to start making his way to make her go.

"I'm going to Bataan that day. I have something really important to do but I'll do my best to make it," she answered. It surprised him to hear her answer. He was expecting that he would need more reasoning done to make her say yes.

Knowing Karl's real intentions, Jeron was still surprised she almost said a yes.

Or maybe she was intentionally making him hope.

He felt like he was breaking but he hid his pain well.

"Talaga?" he asked. He immediately stood beside the door of her bedroom.

Karl nodded. "Yeah. Jeric talked to me and begged me to see the third game. I didn't say yes but I'll do my best. Assuming that you'll give me tickets."

"Of course! I'll give you tickets. I just do not have them right now but I can see you on your class and give it to you," Jeron answered.

"I'll wait for it," Karl smiled and was about to get out of her room but he stopped her with an embrace.

"Thank you, Mahal. You made me so happy," he told her. "I love you. To the moon and back."

Karl laughed. "Thank you."

The two started their afternoon together eating some french toasts na ginawa ni Karl for the two of them. She added some strawberries to it. She was lucky enough to have resources available to come up with an interesting merienda. After eating, Karl changed her clothes and they went to the nearest supermarket to buy items to stuff her fridge.

The two had fun buying items together. Jeron was putting some personal items on the basket as well while she was buying hers.

"I thought someone runs errands for you every weekend? Bakit bumibili ka ulit ng mga gamit na ganyan?" Karl asked him when she saw his personal hygienic items.

"Other than tonight, I'm planning to sleep over after the championship. And on some other days after that. I'm stuffing your house with some of my items para hindi mahirap pag ginabi," he answered.

"Jeron!" she stopped him.

"Relax, Mahal," he smiled at her and held her close. "I promise, no rape case unless you volunteer."
