I didn't know that one of the happiest days of my life could turn all around like a roller coaster falling into the water. It was the worst - the end of all pretentions and the end of the little sisterhood we had.

-Andie

Her attention was taken when she heard someone knocking on the door. It was a Saturday and preparing their auditorium for the following week, Andie spent her weekend in school.

"Come in!" she said.

The door went open and one of the school's utility woman came in, handing her three pieces of sampaguita.

"Ah... Thank you, Ate. Pero... Para saan po ito? Wala naman pong santo dito or grotto sa school," Andie said unsurely.

"Ay hindi po, Ma'am. May nagpapabugay po nyan sa labas. Hindi po makapasok kasi bawal,"

"Sino po?" Andie asked.

"Hindi ko po alam e," the woman answered. "Pero nandoon po sa labas, naghihintay. Kakwentuhan yung guard."

"Sige po, lalabas na lang ako," Andie smiled. She pinned the last letter on the wall and washed her hand before going out. She found me waiting on the lobby, chatting with the guard.

"Kuya, sige na po. Ako na po bahala sa kanya. Salamat at pinagtyagaan nyo," Andie smiled at him. "Para saan naman yung sampaguita mo?"

"Grabe ka sa boyfriend mo," I reminded her. "Para namang hindi ako masaya kausap. Wala akong nadaanan na nagtitinda ng bulaklak e. Yun na lang nakita ko sa may simbahan."

"Santo ba ako sa bahay nyo o kinukuripot mo ako?"

"Hindi naman labs! Naubos lang budget ko last time dahil kay Teng saka sa kambal mo," he said.

The guard smiled. "Talaga Teacher Andie, boyfriend nyo po si Sir? Pinapanood ko lang 'to sa UAAP e. Magaling nga maglaro," he asked.

"Kitams?" I turned to her.

"Kuya, hindi ko naman ikakaila na magaling maglaro ng basketball 'to. Pero pag wala ng hawak na bola, mas matino pa kausap yung mga estudyante ko," Andie said.

"Oy girlfriend, nasasaktan na ako sa sinasabi mo a," I complained. Alam ko nahihiya lang sa akin to. Kagabi magkausap kami sa text, making us finally official. Kinilig kaya ako. First time ko nakapag- I love you kay Andie kaya kahit na 'Good night' lang ang sinabi nya, ayos lang.

"Bagay naman kayo, Teacher Andie. Seryoso kang teacher. Kwela naman 'tong boyfriend nyo. Balanseng balanse," the guard smiled.

I stood up smiling and patted the guard's back. "Yan gusto ko sayo Kuya e. Wag ka magalala, papadalan kita ng ticket next time dito sa girlfriend ko," I said and stood beside Andie saka ko inakbayan ito.

Andie removed my hands around her and walked ahead of me. Agad ko naman syang hinabol and grabbed her hand. Andie didn't say anything until we got inside the room where she was earlier.

"Anong ginagawa mo?" I asked her. Alam ko naman na may play sila. Nasabi sakin ni Gab.

"Nagdedecorate. May play kasi sila sa Monday and I have to prepare it. Dadating yung ibang parents and I have to make sure it's ready."

"I'll help you. Ano bang dapat gawin?" I asked. Andie gave me instructions and I started working right after. She was working on putting the flower decorations on the stage while I was putting up the clouds.
