"Wala na munang lalabas ng classroom after class please!" Si Icah.
This sucks really.
"Kalma pre!" Napalingon ako sa right side ko and it was Nikko starting to make fun of me again.
Ano ba magagawa ko? It's not like I'm affected with the current set up. I just don't want to be connected with her again. I hate badly for sure.
I sighed.
After class, ay nagsimula na nga kaming mag meeting for the school festival. We will be competing against other department's freshmen. This is totally a pain. Aside from basketball and phone games ay wala na akong alam gawing sport worthy of my time.
"King?" Napalingon ako, and it's Icah approaching me. "Ah, I should start calling you King right?" She said and I nodded in answer
"Well, I just want to say that I'm pretty competetive with everything kaya I might be inserting a lot of effort for this and that regards giving pressure on your shoulders, sorry in advance" she smiled "I'm just letting you know."
"That's not a problem." I said
"Okay good. I just want us to work well for the team kahit ngayon lang" she smiled again. What the heck?
Nagsimula na silang mag meeting. Actually wala lang akong ginawa, Icah's been doing all the job at mas mabuti iyong ganun. I hate works like this. Mas gusto ko pang ipasali nalang ako sa mga quiz bees eh. Speaking of that...
"For our quiz bee contestant, without a doubt. The consistent top 1, si King and I will be teaming up" si Icah at napatingin nalang ako sakanya.
"Oy! May new team!" Si Nikko and damn him, I hate that guy really.
"I agree na si Icah na ang isa sa mga contestant. I saw her records too and I must say, kung hindi siya galing sa ibang bansa then maybe nasa top din siya sa mga ranking exam" one of our officers and in the end, partner ulit kami ni Icah for the quiz ball.
As much as gusto kong tumutol sa pinagsasabi nila ay wala na akong nagawa pa. After all, everything they said are true at hindi rin pwede humindi ako dahil visible naman ang records ko sa school and quiz bee category isnt't only about us freshmens kundi lahat na and I won't be surprise kung contender kami ni Monika. pft.
What a drag. Hindi ko talaga minsan inakala na college will be this tiresome.
For our fundraising booth, everyone agreed for a cafè and its proceeds will be going to an orphanage and that's totally fine with me. Actually, wala akong masyadong ginawa sa meeting, I was just busy playing with my phone, kaya na nila iyan!
Natapos na ang meeting namin at umalis na agad ako sa classroom kasama sila Nikko and now we're heading to that room na nabili namin para tambayan.
"Tay, baka magkaroon kami ng bagong Nanay ha? Lagot ka talaga sa'min!"
"Cut it out Nikko or you're dead! Just what the heck are you trying to say? Na ipagpapalit ko Nanay niyo? Gago ka ba?" I death glared him.
"Grabeh maglaro ng tadhana! Parang maniniwala na ako eh." Mokya laughed "Ipaalam mo kay Nanay ang nangyari ngayon Tay ha! Parang seryoso ang mga ganap ngayon baka mamaya ano pa isipin nun. She definitely knows na naging malakas ang tama mo dati kay Icah. Mahirap na" he laughed even more kaya napakunot ang noo ko sa sinabi niya. Minsan talaga walang naitutulong itong mga barkada ko eh!
"Are you really sure you can can cope up with it King?" Tantan suddenly butting in. "It's pretty difficult to handle, I should say"
"Anong difficult?" umismid ako "I'm fine. Wala naman sakin iyon! And besides I'm doing this for my grades. Monique will surely know. I don't plan to hide it, no reason at all!"
