After class ay pumunta kami ni Icah sa office ng teacher namin. I don't know what is it again this time.
"King, hindi ka naman galit sa'kin no?" she asked all of a sudden as we were walking in the corridor
"For what?"
"Wala lang, pakiramdam ko kasi galit ka sa'kin. Sorry kung ganun. I don't mean to annoy you talaga" sabi niya habang nakayuko siya
"Nevermind. I've already thanked you, isn't that enough?"
"If other than that ay may nagawa pa akong mali sa'yo then you can tell me so I can say sorry to you" sabi niya and what's with her all of a sudden?
"What are you saying?" tanong ko "Don't overthink. I'm just not in the mood and isa pa.. don't stress yourself so much on irrelevant things, wala namang problema" I said and sighed, what the hell is going on though?
Dumating kami sa office ni Mrs. Montecillo, our class-in-charge and Business class teacher and she's on her desk sitting on her swivel chair.
"Anong problema?" I said looking all so bored.
Kagagaling ko lang sa sakit tapos ganito pang naiistress ako! Kingina. I'm physically not in my hundred percent. If only pwede akong umabsent sa araw na'to at tumambay lang ay gagawin ko eh kaso baka malaman ni Monika at magalit lang siya, malapit narin finals. Naiisip ko palang napapagod na ako. I don't really know what's so good about college!
"May business intercollegiate seminar sa Baguio, there will be competitions as well and being the top students in my class ay kayong dalawa ang magiging participants. It's a two day one night event kaya bibigyan ko nalang kayo ng concent for formalization" she said directly
"You can just ask Tanix in my replacement. Two day, one night? Ayaw ko sumali"
Seryoso? No way!
"It will be your final exam, the both of you. Winning the competition will earn you a hundred. Isa pa King, marami kang absents sa klase ko kaya this is the time for you na makabawi."
I really hate this college thing! Kingina talaga! Two days and one night na hindi ko makakasama si Monique?! Are you kidding me? The heck! That's going to feel like years!
"Makabawi? I had all your exams perfect? And that's obviously absent or not." I rolled my eyes
"Okay then an 80 grade is good? Your participation and attendance is included King, and isa pa don't go raise your voice while talking to me teacher mo pa rin ako" she said and she's mad. So what?
"Don't worry ma'm! Aattend po kami ni King! Tara na?" Si Icah being all tensed while holding my sleeve.
Nyeta talaga.
Wala akong nagawa, I had to or else I might have a failing grade. I still don't know why such rule exists pero nakakapeste lang talaga sa pakiramdam.
"Sorry if I had to decide in your behalf. I just want to spare you from the tension" si Icah as we are heading back
I forgot. She hates chaos.
"Whatever. Hindi parin ako convince about this whole thing. Pero bahala na!" I said while walking in an opposite direction from her now. Pupunta ako sa tambayan namin.
"M-may klase pa tayo! Where are you going?"
"Stop asking. I call this day off already! Geh!"
