~I'll be going by my own memory from here/ making up my owns lines

"Prepare the carts! It's time to leave this area. There's nothing left of her." Erwin commands.
"I'll go round up my squad and find Yaeger," I respond, using three-dimensional maneuver to soar from tree to tree. I follow the path, going the direction I told them to go.
It's not long before I hear a shout, and I see steam rising to the west. That shout... That's Eren. He's shifted. I follow it, finding a clearing. I see part of his shifted body, the head missing. I look around, searching for the rest of my squad. My eyes widen as I find their mangled corpses lying on the ground in various different unnatural positions. I stop on a tree, stunned at the sight. My squad... They're dead. I feel tears fill my eyes.
"No! Give him back!" I hear someone scream. I see Mikasa attacking the female Titan. It's about to escape. Eren is dangling out of her mouth.
"Is he still alive?" I ask her.
"Yes, sir!" She responds.
"We have to get him. Certain parts of her skin are able to break blades, so we can't destroy her. But we can get him. You distract her." I say, my eyes narrowing. "I'll cut her up."
Mikasa nods. "Yes, Captain!"
We take off after her, Mikasa flying around her face. While she does that I try to get in front of her. She sees me, punching toward me. I dodge her attack, spinning my entire body like a deadly pinwheel as I slice my blades up her arm, destroying it. Then I shoot forward, slicing off her jaw before swinging down and chopping her legs into pieces.
The female type falls to the ground, her body limp. I move fast enough her body doesn't have enough time to form her hardening skin defence. I see Mikasa dive in towards her nape.
"DON'T!" I shout, the young woman stoppings the Titan throws a hand up weakly. The hand hits my ankle. I feel it crack.
I swoop down, slicing the jaw open. Yaeger is on her tongue, his body encased in a slimy sack. I grab him, before attaching to a tree and going the other way.
"Time to retreat!"
Mikasa is hot on my heels.
"He seems fine." I tell her. "We all get that you love him, but don't let that cloud your judgement. Don't be reckless."
We leave the female Titan on the forest floor, her body full of gaping gashes, steam pouring from those spots.
We reach the carts. I put Eren in the back of one. Then I get on my horse and head off back to the walls.
We get back before noon, the people of the city meet us there. Some complain about the waste of tax money being spent on these expeditions.
Then someone stops me, and my heart drops.
"Excuse me, Levi, sir, I'm Petra's father." I keep walking, but he tries to stay ahead of me. "You see, she sent me a letter that was quite worrisome. She is quite fond of you. And you know, she's still young, and I wouldn't say she's ready for marriage yet. I tried to tell her you were with someone, but she won't have it, though I can see how your relationship has... Crushed her."
I am reminded of her crushed body against the base of the tree, her legs twisted over her head, her eyes open in a dead stare. I climb on my horse and hurry away from the man.
Your POV

I see Levi first as I sit in his office at HQ. His window has the best view of the road. As soon as I see the dust from the carts I hurry downstairs, waiting to greet them. Levi stops his horse as he sees me. He climbs down, without saying a word, pulling me into his arms. He's covered in blood, a weird slimy substance all over his arms and torso.
"Levi, I'm so glad to see you," I say, kissing his cheek. He holds me for a long moment, the other members of the survey corps filing down the dusty driveway.
I begin to loosen my arms, assuming he has things to do, I can't hold him forever, but his arms tighten around me. Something happened today. Something unplanned and horrible.
I peer over his shoulder, watching the soldiers ride by, waiting to see Petra's glare. But I never see her. Or any members of his squad. Maybe they've already gone by and I missed them.
"Levi, what happened today? You're all back early."
"I'll tell you later." He responds simply.
Finally, his grips loosens on me and he turns, grabbing onto the reigns of his horse.
"Let's just go home."
"You're not needed here anymore today?"
"No, we're all going to rest. A lot has happened and we need to take a break."
"Okay, honey," I respond.
Since I came in with him today I climb on his horse and ride back home with him. I hold tightly onto his waist, letting the wind blow at my hair as I bury my face into his back. He smells of blood and sweat.
We get home in little time and he takes his horse to the barn. I go walk with him. He is completely silent the entire way.
I draw him a bath, which he gratefully climbs into. I go into the bathroom to collect his laundry when I notice a long, deep gash across his forearm. Blood seeps out of it, running along the edge of the tub, a small puddle already beginning to form on the floor. How did he not notice? Maybe he's in shock.
"Levi!" I say, alarmed. "You're hurt!" He opens his eyes, peering around. He notices his arm and he dips it in the hot water. He winces.
I use a cloth to wipe up the blood from the floor. Then I go find the first aid kit. That may need stitches. I'll bandage it up when he's done bathing. In the meantime, I make a pot of tea and sushi for lunch.
He comes down after a little bit, his damp hair styled in his usual part. He sits at the table, as I insist on serving him. He seems tired and defeated. Whatever happened today didn't go well.
He lets me carefully stitch and bandage his arm while he eats. When I finish I grab some food and eat with him. He's hardly said a word since he came home. And he doesn't eat very much. Usually, he eats a lot when he gets back from expeditions.
When I notice that his tea is untouched, I know something really bad has happened. I could only imagine that he lost someone close.
"Levi, what happened while you all were gone today?"
"A female Titan type attacked us. It was a deviant. It was controlled by a human."
"A human?" My eyes widen.
"Yes. She caused a lot of trouble just to try to take Eren. She killed a lot of people."
"Do you know who all we lost?"
"We lost the seventh squad, the 5th line squads that were behind us, and my squad."
I nearly choke on my sushi. That means... Petra, Oluo, Jinn and Gunner. They're dead.
"Oh, Levi. I'm so sorry." I whisper. I reach across the table, resting my hand over his. I know he was fairly close with all of them. They were his friends. Even if Petra hated my entire existence, she never deserved to die.
"She disposed of them like they were trash. I wish we could've killed the bitch."
"I can't even imagine what you've seen today..." I murmur, feeling sad for him.
"We'll get our hands on her." He says simply.
