Your Point of View

I find myself standing in a field, wide open, full of wildflowers of a million different colours.

The sun gleams on me from overhead, the light warm and yellow. It hurts my eyes.

I let my head fall back, letting it wash over my face. A breeze gusts through my hair, carrying it away.

I twirl in a circle, my face still pointed at the bright blue sky. I begin to feel dizzy, the ground below my feet giving way.

Before I can fall, a hand grasps my arm, pulling me up and onto solid ground.

I glance around, my eyes falling upon Levi. At first, I smile. But he doesn't smile back. His mouth is open like he's shouting. But no sound is coming out.

My smile fades, replaced by panic. What is awry?

He reaches out to me, but no matter how far I stretch my arm, I can't seem to grasp him.

Suddenly, I'm being hoisted into the air, an enormous hand wrapped around my torso. I scream for Levi, but he can't get through the hidden boundary between us.

I am flipped upside down, high above the earth. I look up, my head facing the ground. The only thing I see is a giant mouth open wide, ready to engulf me.

"(Y/n)!" I hear as I fall.

"Levi! Levi, help me!"

The wind is forced out of my lungs.

"Lev..."

Suddenly I awake with a start, my body tense. I peer up at Levi, whom is awake and saying my name.

"Are you okay? You were screaming my name in your sleep." He says, his eyes wide.

"I just..." I start, my nightmare already slipping from my mind. The cold feeling of dread doesn't leave me, though.

Tears well up in my eyes and my voice breaks.

He pulls me into his chest, wrapping his arms around me tight. I hold him close. My body trembles as I sob, unable to get rid of the feeling of lead deep in my stomach.

"You're alright, love. I'm here." He whispers in my ear, gently stroking my hair.

"It just felt so real." I blubber. I bury my face in his shoulder, deeply inhaling his scent. It helps me calm. My nightmare is quickly fading in my mind. But I can still feel the air around my body as I fall into nothingness.

I close my eyes, sighing deeply. I feel his warm hands on my cheeks. He gently pulls my head back, wiping my tears off my cheeks with his thumbs. He leans in, kissing my lips softly.

"Better now?" His voice is soft, warm.

"Yes. Much better." I whisper, hugging close to him as we lie back down. He wraps his arms around me, holding me close to his chest.

"Get some more sleep, darling."

"Okay." I mutter, feeling warm and safe in his arms. "I love you."

"I love you." He echoes.
