31. Believable - Plausible; likely; able to be believed.

Tyler woke again around five thirty. The ache from his bruises was still painfully present, and after half an hour of trying to go back to sleep, he got up and went into the bathroom.

He'd never be able to explain all the bruises to his parents. Even if he did tell them the truth, they likely wouldn't believe him. He couldn't think of a reasonable or believable lie to explain his injuries, so he covered them with concealer instead.

The bruises on his face, anyway. The ones on his shoulders, waist, back, arms, and hands would have to be hidden in other ways.

When he got back to his room, he quickly dressed in a long-sleeved black t-shirt with a small white skull in the middle, a red beanie, and a pair of dark skinny jeans. The sleeves of his shirt were long enough that he looked like he had sweater paws; this would keep the bruises on his hands hidden well. (A/N: I'd sell my right sock to see Tyler Joseph with sweater paws) Thankfully, the collar of his shirt came right up to his neck, so it also hid the bruises on his shoulders.

After dressing, Tyler stumbled into the kitchen to open the medicine cabinet. Some Advil might ease the aches in his bones.

"What are you doing, sweetie?" Tyler's mother stood at the end of the hallway leading to the kitchen. She looked like she'd just woken up, and had probably come to start cooking breakfast.

Tyler's mind quickly formulated an excuse. "Just getting some more Advil for my headache. It does feel better today, though." Luckily, his mother didn't press any further on the subject, and Tyler was able to get the medicine he needed.
