Ivan - He Meets Your Parents.

Y/N Pov:

Ivan was super nervous cause he was meeting my parents for the first time. We had to take a plane to Washington cause that's where my parents live. I knocked on the door and seconds later my Mom answered the door.

"Y/N! Your here!"

"Hi Mom!"

She engulfed me in a hug. After a couple seconds I pulled away.

"Mom, this Ivan, Ivan this is my Mom."

"It's nice to finally meet you! Why don't you both come in. Dinner is ready."

We followed my Mom to the kitchen. My Dad was sitting at the table.

"What a surprise! I didn't know you were coming. I could've picked you guys up."

"It's fine. I wanted to surprise you both! By the way, Dad this is Ivan, Ivan this is my Dad."

"Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too."

Ivan and my Dad shook hands and then we all sat down. My Mom cooked Spaghetti and Garlic Bread. We all started to dig in.

"So how was the flight? Do you two have a hotel to stay at?"

"The flight was good and we haven't booked a hotel yet."

"You two can stay in the guest room."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm positive."

"Okay."

"So Ivan, where did you live before you moved to California?"

"Spain."

"What are your intentions with my daughter?"

I choked on my food. I started coughing. Ivan rubbed my back.

"Are you okay?"

"Mhm....Dad, seriously."

"Be quiet y/n. Let him answer the question."

"Well, I love her and I can see us getting married some day. I can't see my life without her."

"If you ever hurt our daughters heart, I will-"

"Y/D/N! Quit it!" (Y/D/N 》Your Dad's Name)

"Sorry, but I'm just making sure he'll never hurt our daughter. "

"If think he knows that."

My Mom looked at Ivan.

"Sorry about that."

After we finished dinner and dessert, Mom Mom showed us to the guest room. After saying good night to us she left the room. We both laid down in the bed.

"So what did you think?"

"About your parents?"

"Yeah."

"There nice."

"Sorry about my Dad. He gets overprotective of me."

"It's fine, I understand."

"Well other than that happening at dinner, was meeting parents okay?"

"Yeah, I wasn't so nervous anymore as soon as I met them."

I didn't say anything for a couple seconds.

"Do you really mean what you said?"

"About what?"

"You can't see your life without me?"

"Yes, and I mean it one hundred percent."

I turned my body so that I was facing him. He did the same.

"Good, cause I can't either."

Ivan leaned in and pecked me on the lips.

"I love you."
