Early in the morning I arrived at the school. I had all the screwdrivers and the tools that I might need to break off that iron board at the bottom of my locker. The day was extra gloomy in Seoul that I had to include a torch in my bag.

I knelt down and took the lit torch and held it from my mouth and started to lift the board off. After a few minutes’ effort, I was able to succeed. Under the board was the blue file which contained all my junior school memories... and memories about him.

I heard a loud thump. Someone was there; I wished I knew where. I tucked my file under my arm and hid in the shadows. I did not come out until the sun clearly showed out of the clouds of night. I made my way down the corridor and I saw drops of blood.

What the hell had actually happened here?

There was still an hour for school to start. Hence, to go through my memories, I went to the study room because it was quite quiet and the exams were not close. I sat by the window that was facing the school premises and opened the file. There were my school concert photos, several bits and pieces of notes and autographs.

Finally I came across the bundle of papers clipped together which served me as the diary back when I was in the primary.

It had each and everything I had found about him. Simply everything.

I started to read the diary entries that were written three years ago.

September, 2010

I cannot remember the exact date and anyway I have been keeping entries in a bundle of papers. Some day in June, he came to the school. He had pale skin, so white that even snow would have looked less white.

He introduced himself to the class as Min Yoongi and said that he was a transfer student. I don’t know what that means, but even my weird brain noted that it was really weird to have seven transfer students at once in the middle of the year. I don’t know why he caught my eye than others, but his smirk was so iconic and he always did that when the teacher was not looking.

The new student, named Kim Namjoon actually looked brainy. I bet that our class topper felt threatened. His thick rimmed glasses were actually intimidating.

Kim Seokjin was too handsome to be in our school. He was a real piece of art and as he introduced himself, I could hear the girls squealing over him. Hoseok had the brightest smile of all. His limbs looked so agile and I doubt if he had had gymnastic lessons since he was a toddler!

Taehyung looked innocent, but his look was mischievous. Even his shirt was not tucked in to his pants properly and the teacher started off with him by giving him an earful.

Park Jimin was angelic. I cannot even believe that he would hang out with a dork like Min Yoongi. He didn’t even look like a friend of that fiery Min Yoongi, Park Jimin was the complete opposite of Min Yoongi.

Jeon Jungkook was so adorable. He didn’t talk much in the introduction; he just said his name and said that he was pleased to meet us. He was too formal and his face was passive.

Too much was happening already in the middle of the year!

October, 2010

The only person of the gang of new transfer students that has talked with me and made real friends with me is Kim Namjoon.

We accidentally met at the library. We were in the Fiction section and coincidentally he and I both chose the same book though we were on either side of the book rack. Through the gap that was made when I took the book, he smiled. It was one heart warming smile! I will never ever forget his dimples!
