"Was he acting weird since Tuesday?" I calmly asked while the 4 of us was still staring the seat he left.

"We did not notice anything on that day, but we saw him walking fast on the way to his room... And then he locked it." Mom said. "All we heard was cries coming from his room." She added then took a sip of water.

"I tried to talk to him but he refused to. Until it was Dinner, he finally went down from his room and told us everything." Dani continued while eating the remaining food.

"Michelle was the first girl that he cried for." Dad concluded.

"Your brother is like you." Mom claimed then she looked at me. "Strong but also has a weak side." She smiled.

"I guess, it does run in the blood." I said. "Right Dad?"

"Hindi naman kasing lala nung sitwasyon niyo anak." He giggled.

Mom hugged him for a few seconds. How sweet, someday that would be me and Alyssa.

It's been 7 days since we left the hospital and my recovery is going fast. Alyssa, she frequently calls and texts me. As for my family, we are doing great but Thirdy is still trying to recover from what happened. I heard Thirdy has been avoiding Mich lately and she didn't like that but couldn't do anything about it because she chose Queennie over my brother. Mich apologized about the incident and told me she tried making up to him but nothing happened, he just walks away everytime he sees her with or without Queennie.

Here I am at my room doing requirements. Luckily, Aly was there to catch up for me. I said to stop and I will ask our classmates but she insisted, which made me worry because she is still recovering.

"Kuya, aren't you sleepy yet? It's almost Midnight." Dani asked, who is widely awake.

"I should be asking you that question." I noticed the book she's holding, "Are you reading?" I asked.

"Yes, The Fault In Our Stars. It's a good read." She answered. Since I'm not into books I just nodded and went back to my work.

"Ate Alyssa, how is she? No signs of contacting you today. That's weird." Dani said curiously while reading. "She's the only one who bombards your phone almost every minute and hour of the day." Exaggeratedly said.

I giggled a bit. As far as I know Alyssa is a busy person, she tends to forget but I'm sure she'll remember at the end of the day. "She's busy, requirements.. You know." I assumed.

"What about you? You've been very busy doing those requirements lately... Are you going to pass it when you're back?" She asked again.

"Yes, I will and I have to. That's how College Athletes survive." I said. "Its like a do-or-die situation."

She just nodded and continued reading silently, I presume that she is near the end since her face turned serious.

"Augustus died." She said while she facepalmed her face. "Hazel is left alone." She slowly cried.

"Augustus has cancer right? Like the girl?" I curiously asked.

"Yes, and he died first." Dani said while she closes the book. "But he loved her like it was his last. Hazel on the other hand, vowed to love him forever and would never trade their love for anything." She adds while wiping her tears.

Those words, seemingly affect me. I have a Heart Disease and Aly doesn't know except for my team mates and family. I suddenly stopped doing my requirements and started to think deeply, what if the same thing happens to us? The only difference is that I am the one who is sick and she's not.
