"You don't know how much I love nights like these" My co worker Deena said as we sat down at a table looking around the empty restaurant.
"It does feel nice not having customers complain about every single thing" I said
I've been working here for about 2 weeks and honestly I love it. Everyone is so nice to me and it just feel good to know I'm not being judged.
I also was homeless again staying in the basement of an abandoned house. I had to leave Laura's as soon as possible because honestly she wasn't doing shit besides fucking me over and I was tired of it.
I was tired of people taking advantage of me and walking all over me.
It's not luxury but at least I have somewhere to sleep so I'm not out in the cold. It's only until I get enough money from paychecks to buy a small apartment.
"Girl you don't know how bad I be wanting to snatched these bitches wigs off. Like bitch just because I'm a waitress don't mean I won't drag your baldheaded ass down the street" She rolled her eyes making laugh
"Yeah they do be having us fucked up" I said taking a drink of my tea.
"The only bad thing about it is that time goes by extra slow" She frowned
"Well maybe if ya'll got up and did something it'll go by faster" Our manager laughed
"What is there to do?"
"Clean up the tables and get this place ready to close. If it continues to be this dead I'm just going to go ahead and call it a day" She said
"Thank you Jesus" Deena yelled getting up from her seat
"You're a foul" I laughed doing the same
I went to the kitchen to get a towel so I could wipe the tables down one last time before closing.
"Why does it look like it's going to Thunder storm really bad?" Deena asked as she stared out the window as lighting took over the sky
"Because there's suppose to be a tornado hitting close by so we're going to get a really bad storm out this way"I told her
"Ugh I hate when it rains" She smacked her lips
"Girl I love when it rains especially when I'm in bed under my covers like yes baby" I laughed just imagining it
I loved Thunder storms. Always have. It was the best feeling hearing the rain fall as you laid in bed peacefully. Thunder be putting my ass to sleep.
