"Morning" I told my mother as I walked into the kitchen.
"Morning baby. How you sleep?" She asked placing the bowl of grits on the table.
"Ehh it was alright " I said taking a seat
Soon Jerome and my older sister Nataya walked in
"Wassgood" Jerome spoke taking a seat at the table
"Boy if you don't getcho god damn elbows off my table" My OG said smacking him on the head making us laugh
"Ouch Ma. You heavy handed" He said rubbing the spot he got hit
"Boy don't make me beat yo ass" She warned
Soon my younger brother Kaine and my littke sister Layla walked in
"Take a seat and eat before you guys leave"
Eating together is something we tried to do as much as possible whenever none of us were working. Usually we always had breakfast together.
I looked around the table seeing everyone happy and having conversation.
Jerome's 22,Nataya's 21,Layla's 15 and Kaine's 13.
"David you have a game today?" Jerome asked
"Nah not today. My games Friday"
"So what time you think you'll be home?"
"Uh I'm not sure. I got practice then after practice I gotta head over to Jack's" I answered as I ate some grtis.
"Nataya what about you?" He asked
"You mind telling us why you so worried about what we doing?" She eyed him
"Cause OG said I gotta take care of those two demons but I gotta pull a double at the shop" He said
"I'll watch them" She shrugged
Jerome worked as a mechanic at our loyal auto shop. He felt like school was a waste so decided to stop going after graduating High school. He always had a passion for fixing cars so he said fuck it and followed his dream. For only being 22 he's one of the best Mechanics around here.
Nataya was going to school to get her degree in law. She always dreamed of being a lawyer so she's working on being able to be the best lawyer to ever come out of Harlem.
"Thank you so much sis" He got up kissing her cheek then my OG's before leaving out.
Some tells me this nigga had a bitch waiting for his ass.
"What the hell" Yaya wiped the kiss off her cheek making me laugh
I finished eating getting up placing my dish in the sink before saying bye to Yaya and OG
