It was 5 in the morning and I was laying on Dave's chest staring out the window. It was another sleepless night for me but it wasn't as bad.
It seems liked as soon ass me and Dave talked everything out the nightmares eased up. They didn't go away but they weren't as bad as before.
I know I needed to seek help because my insecurities were getting the best of me. It's like I know Dave wouldn't cheat on me but there's still that little voice in the back of my head telling me that he'll find better. I want to think different but it's hard.
Going through what I went through fucks you up not only mentally but emotionally as well. It's like no matter how many times this man tells me her loves me I'll always have a little bit of doubt and his actions sometimes don't really help.
There's no doubt in my mind that I love this man and only him. Through all the bs and temper tantrums he be throwing I still wouldn't want to be with anyone else but him. He's taught me so much about myself in so little time it's crazy.
He's shown me that no matter how fucked up things get we can always bounce back. And I guess for this reason I want to be the perfect girl for him.
I know he would rather have a virgin or a girl with little bodies and not as much baggage but I was still happy and thankful he chose me
I looked up a bit watching him sleep. I smiled a bit before turning my attention back out the window.
I felt him hug me tighter making my body squish against his a bit.

I laid my head on his chest hearing his heart beat as he sang to me
