"Whats your plan?" Dave asked me as he took his shirt off tossing it in the laundry basket we had
I must say living with him has been a very different experience. He's nothing like I imagined him to be. He's actually a chill person and not an asshole.
"So you know how you do licks and I rob dudes from the club?" I said taking a seat
"Yeah?" He gave a confused look I guess trying to wonder where I was going with this conversation
"Why dont we combine them. Like instead of you hitting random house you help me rob the guys from the club"
"And how we do that?" He took a seat across from me
"So we both hit the club and look for our victim. Once we find him I'll go flirt with him or whatever until he's like let's go. Then you follow us to his making sure not be seen and once I handle him I'll send you a text and let you. That way we know that no one will come in. You don't have to deal with alarms or animals and we can get more things that way" I said
He sat there I guess thinking about If it's a good idea but i mean how Is it not?
This way he doesn't have to sneak around and worry about one day getting caught because we don't know if everyone has left the house
This way I'll be inside so I can scope things out and let him
"It's actually a good idea now that I think of it"
"See. It'll be easier and less risk you have to take"
"You right. How much money we got?" He asked me
I got up from my spot walking over to our hidden spot where we kept our money. I grabbed the box taking it over to the table
I opened it taking out the bundles. He took half and I took half
We starred counting it and I got $980
"I got $980 how much you got?" I asked
"$750"
"So we got a total of $1,730"
most of the money was money I made and Dave didn't feel comfortable claiming it as his but I told him that we're in this together. Whatever money we make is for the both of us to spend especially now that he's putting in work to get money as well
"Think that'll be enough for a small apartment? Even if it's only a one bed room cause we can still share" He asked
"Honestly I don't know but I feel like we need to hit at least two more houses to be on the safe side because if we gonna have to pay our own utilities plus rent then we don't have enough especially since they be asking for a deposit" I told him
I'm praying we can get enough to get at least a small apartment even a studio apartment would be fine I'm just tired of staying in this basement full of bugs and shit.
"Let's search some stuff. If we can find one with rent that's at least 500 we'll be good" he said
I nodded my head pulling out my phone so I could search up apartments
"What you trying to eat?" He asked as he put the money away
"Something cheap. I'm not trying to buy a lot if we're planning on renting an apartment" I looked up from my phone
"I agree so how about I got to McDonald's and get us some shit off the dollar menu? Spend like 10 bucks?"
"Sounds good"
He slipped on another shirt along with his hoodie
He grabbed the keys and headed out
While he was gone I decided to clean up a bit since we really didn't do none today besides sleep.
As I was doing the bed my phone went off letting me know someone was calling me
I already knew it was Dave because he's the only one with my number and the only one I talk to
"Yes Dave" I answered
"Aye I'm here but they don't have sweet tea so what you want to drink?"
I thought for a minute before answering
"Uh sprite is fine and it's only a dollar" I said
"You sure Cause if you want some else let me know"
"No I'm good just hurry back I'm hungry" I laughed a bit
"Yes mother I'll be there shortly" he laughed before hanging up
I put my phone down laughing as I did our bed.
As I was doing the bed I realized that it was going to need some air so I'll have Dave blow it up again once he was home
I hated having air mattresses because they lost air quickly due to the climate we were in. It would get really humid in here and that alone fucks everything up
After about 15 minutes Dave called me over to the window so I could get the food while he climbed in
"Why you get a chocolate shake?"
"Because I knew you didn't really want a sprite and you wanted something sweet" he said
I smiled at How thoughtful he was being
"Well thank you. What's in there?" I pointed to the bags in his hand
"I stopped by the store and got us some stuff to hold us off. It's none much just some junk food so that we don't spend a lot of money on fast food" he took everything out
"Oh shit you got brownies" I squealed Ive been craving brownies for the longest
Of course it ain't the same as homemade brownies but shit it'll do.
I grabbed me two sitting down eating them with my shake
"So you just gonna eat the brownies and say fuck McDonald's?" Dave shook his chuckling
"Mhm I'll eat it later or tomorrow"
"You sure it's gonna be cold"
"I'm sure. You tryna watch a movie?" I asked
"A movie how? We ain't got no tv"
"On our phones stupid"
"I mean until we knock out yeah why not. It's like 3:30 in the morning and we over here awake and eating" he said joining me on the bed "this Bitch needs some air"
"Oh yeah I was gonna ask you if you can put air in it in the morning"
"Yeah I got it don't worry" I smiled nodding my head as I looked for a good movie to watch
Finally deciding on one we got under the covers getting comfortable
