I was sleeping peacefully when I heard giggling. I opened my eyes slowly seeing Heaven sitting in a chair on the phone.
"No daddy. Mommy still sleep" I watched her pout
I guess Ant said something because she spoke again
"Because she lazy" She said making me laugh
"Mommy you wake" She smiled getting down the chair coming over to me
"Yes baby I'm awake" I sat up a bit making sure not to hurt myself.
"You want her up there?" Mrs. Scott Ant's mom asked
"Yes please"
She nodded her head putting Heaven on the bed with me.
"Mommy daddy on the phone" She smiled passing me the phone
I took it from her sending her a smile before speaking into the phone
"Hello?"
"Hey baby. You don't know how happy I am that you're awake" Ant said
"Aww. Trust me I'm happy to be awake too. How are you?" I asked him
"Better now that I know you're good. I was going crazy not knowing what was going on with you. I was ready to break out this bitch so I could be by your side" He said causing me to blush and smile
"There's no need I'm perfectly fine now"
"Who did this to you? I need to know so I can handle this" He said in a serious tone
"No Anthony. You're not doing anything. You need to be worried about getting out early for Heaven and not worry about me"
"Desire don't you understand that you could've died?"
"Yes I'm very well aware of that but that doesn't matter. I'll handle that. You need to worry about getting home to your daughter"
"I'm not letting this go so either you tell me who did it or I find out but you're crazy if you think I'm going to let them get away with doing this to you"
I sighed not knowing what else to say. I knew that no matter what I said he wasn't going to back down.
"I really wish you would let this go but I know you won't so I'll go visit you and handle this. And careful with what you say. You know they listen in right?"
"Don't worry baby I'm good but I need you to take good care of yourself ight?"
